We enter Keith's house, the three of us. Catherine is wiggling and squirming in my arms. We haven't been outside often so she is a little jittery. I squeeze Carl's hand. He nods and smiles at me. I hope the day goes fine. Keith greets us.
"She is such a beautiful princess." He coos at Cathy and she smiles coyly.
"Come on in, Linda would love to meet you!"
We go inside. Carl is looking for his brother and Maya and thankfully they are nowhere to be seen. Slowly, Carl relaxes and we get into the groove meeting old friends and Cathy is enjoying with a couple of other little too. It’s so heartening to see her play and enjoy herself.
