“So how are things going between you and the vampire?” Gia’s question brought me out of my daze as I continued to chew on my spoon.
“Um…” I hummed as I looked away. Gia would just turn is into a never ending cycle of teasing and I didn’t want that. Things between were going well, too well. It felt as if I was betraying Lucien and no matter how much I tried to convince myself, that guilt was still there.
“Pan?” Gia said softly. “It’s okay to move on you know. ‘He’ would have wanted you to.” We had not said his name out loud, but only when Castiel was around. I didn’t want him to know that his death effected me so much that at many points in all those years I lost it, I withered away, my soul longed to be with him even if weren’t mates anymore.
