“Why do you come to my room at night? Not that I’m saying you can’t.” I asked as I petted his head and handed him a sandwich.
“I don’t really know. I just want to be close you I guess.” He shrugged it off.
“Okay, I kind of like it.” I admitted.
“Really?” he asked curiously.
“Well yeah, you are my son and it feels like you’re all grown up-”
“I can’t tie my own shoe lace…” he interrupted as I gave him an amused expression
“-and what’s worse is that I didn’t get to see any of it. Your first tooth, word, smile, steps, non of it. I guess I just feel robbed.” I admitted to him. He hummed in response. “I can relate momma.” He finally replied.
“Come on you patatina, you need to practice.” I pulled him away.
