Amelia did not know how long she stood on the empty driveway. She did not care at the moment. Time had stopped and became suddenly irrelevant. She was not sure whether she wanted to take back what happened or she wanted to relive it over and over.
That kiss.
It was intense.
She could still feel everything that kiss revealed to her. She could not understand how it had happened. Clark had always been a constant fixture in her life. He had always been there but never in all her time with him was Clark's presence more pronounced than this moment.
It was like he had left an imprint of himself in her.
It was weird and right at the same time; like fate had somehow opened her eyes wider to realize that Clark truly had been there all along. She just did not notice or maybe she refused?
