It just feels like things have been designed to work against me. Why did mum have to talk about going to college at that moment? And there Louis was, behind talking to Liam. He had a kind of look in his eyes. One that showed that he was already angry with me.
“So,” mum interrupted my thoughts by swinging an arm around me as we both kept on walking in the market.
