We stood out in the hall outside of Tóra's bed chambers. Marcus was beside me studying the floor, Cepheus was talking to one of his guards. Astaroth went through at least seventy vampires to get into the dining hall. Most of them were dead. Zad looked like he was in the middle of a deep meditation, while the new Archangel, Gabriel watched hik carefully. Me? I couldn't stop pacing. Nienna's emotions were overwhelming me. She was distraught. Anxious, and angry.
"You need to sit down, man. You're going to dig yourself a trench in Cepheus's floor," Marcus sighed.
"I can't," I said as I nervously bit my lip. "Nienna's emotions and mine are making me restless," I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair. "Not all of us can put ourselves at peace like Buddha over here, " I nodded
