I don’t know how the Sirens had done it but when they brought us back to the surface, we were at the shore line.
I stepped out of the waves, my arms wrapped tightly around myself to try and warm up. The storm had long since passed but with my clothes soaked the sun did little to warm me.
“Are you ok?” Drake was stripping off his clothes.
Raising my eyes to him I felt my mouth fall open. His T-shirt was in his hands and he as twisting it. Wringing the water out but it wasn’t that , that made my mouth open and close like a fish. Drakes pale chest was lean and chiselled. Beautiful just like his angular face.
“What?” One dark eyebrow arched upward. His movement stilled. “Bella are you ok?” He asked again.
He had been asking that a lot.
