I woke up in bed.
A warm comfortable bed.
And for a second I didn’t know where the hell I was or why my arms were tied to the bed posts by thick abrasive rope.
It came back to me in a rush. Going through the mirror and ending up in the middle of the ocean. Watching Bella disappear under those dark waves .
And then…..
Missy.
“Shit.” I tried to sit upright and fell back defeated , when the ropes stopped me moving. Tightening around me.
Missy. Something had happened. I had kissed her.
I groaned again. I hadn’t just kissed her I had started to explore her body. I had tasted her skin. I would have made love to her if the Sins hadn’t arrived.
They had ripped her apart and I hadn’t gone quietly. I remembered trying to fight them and then a hard fist coming towards my face.
