Story of Naziya: The Last Hope of VerraUpdated at Aug 30, 2025, 17:03
Naziya was a Tesha, born of the strange and perilous world of Verra. Within her lay a power—dormant yet immense—resting quietly in every fiber of her being. But in that world, fate was cruel to her kind.
She possessed eyes that shimmered like starlight, a nose slender and proud, and lips small and crimson as fresh blood. Her skin was pale—white as the untouched snow of the highest peaks. Yet in Verra, such beauty was loathed.
In that world, the Tesha were seen as lesser beings—treated as little more than slaves by the ruling race, the Ayzih. These Ayzih had dark, rough skin, broad noses marred with warts, and hair so dry and tangled it looked like a bird’s nest. Their eyes were deep-set, pitch-black, and ringed with wrinkles as though carved by time itself. And yet, in Verra, they were worshipped—for they were considered the most powerful, the most beautiful.
It was Riyonna, the ancient seer, who first saw Naziya’s fate—long before the girl even drew breath. In the clouds, she had glimpsed a vision: Naziya, standing alone, fighting against the chaos of Verra. The prophecy chilled the very air. Riyonna spoke of war—of a storm that would descend upon Verra, all because of this child. Because of Naziya.
And so, the people of Verra cast her out, banished her from their world. She fell—exiled—to the land of humans.
But could Riyonna’s prophecy truly come to pass?
What fate awaits Naziya now, in the world of men?
