My aunt came home with a book left by a hotel guest, it was “Secret Fire” by prolific romance novel author Johanna Lindsey. I finished reading that book in 4 hours and since then, I’ve been an avid romance book reader, English or Tagalog. To become a published author has always been a dream of mine and I once submitted a typewritten story to a publishing company in the Philippines when they invited their readers to submit stories. Sadly, my story wasn’t accepted. It’s been years since then, I now have a stable day job, accomplished most things in my bucket list, but that dream to write a romance novel have never ebbed. I have so many ideas that are just waiting to be written and shared to other avid romance readers. My love for romance novel is what keeps me young, happy, and hopeful.
