I was feeding my kids when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered, the phone between my ears and shoulders.
"Meet me after an hour at the coffee shop across your house. " The man said.
"Ha? Teka, sino ba to?" I asked and put down my spoon and fork.
The twins looked at me and then returned to eating their foods again.
"It's me. Peter. We have something to talk about. See you later." Peter said and hung up.
I looked at the clock and saw that it's 12pm. I still have an hour to prepare and drop the kids at Odessa's house.
"Thank you, Des. I really appreciate this. " I said to her gratefully as she walked me out of her house.
"Wala yun. Sino sino pa ba ang magtutulungan kundi tayo tayo din." Odessa smiled. "Sige na, baka hinihintay ka na ng asawa mo sa date nyo." She teased me with a wink.
