I shut my eyes tightly, absorbing every detail around me, knowing this might be my final glimpse. I've made my choice. It's time for me to depart and utterly forsake the life I've been living. This is the only path I see fit to take right now.
But before I take that leap, there's one final reckoning I must face. I must confront my cousin and demand the truth, force him to unveil the dark motive behind his actions toward both my father and me.
"Ano ito? Bakit mo ako pinapunta dito?" napalingon ako nang narinig ko ang boses ni Denise. Mabuti naman at pumunta sya dito. Buong akala ko hindi nya ako pupuntahan.
"Look around this entire house, Denise. Don't you remember my dad? My father never did anything wrong to you, only kindness." hindi ko napigilan sambit
