"Are you okay?" tanong ni Caleb sa akin. Katatapos lang namin mag- usap ng tatlo dati kong mga kaibigan. Naghihintay lang sa akin si Caleb sa labas hanggang sa matapos akong kausapin ang tatlo.
"I don't know if I'm okay, Caleb. I don't know what I should be feeling after their confession to me. The most intense feeling I should be experiencing. Should it be anger? Sadness? Whatever it is— Caleb?"
My mind is in turmoil at this moment.
"You need to rest!" aniya.
"You right! Uuwi na ako. Salamat."
"Ihatid na kita. On the way naman sa pupuntahan ko."
Isang tango lang ang pinakawalan ko kay Caleb.
Despite my rage, I'm utterly depleted, incapable of facing anyone, whether it's Sancho or Denise. The confrontation with my former friends drained me completely.
