Chapter 12
After taking the shower, I wrapped myself with a towel and wiped the fog off the mirror. Lifting my head, hollowed and red rimmed eyes stared right back at me. Pale skin, chapped lips and dark undereye circles, I look like a walking zombie.
Shaking my head, I went outside the bathroom. Opening the door, I saw a pale pink dress placed on top of the bed. Grateful for Ceecee's sense of style, I put it on and twirled in front of the mirror.
"Hay salamat tapos ka na din." Sabi ni Ceecee sa likod ko. Humarap ako sa kanya and grinned at her.
"Thank you sa dress." Sabi ko.
"No problem. But if I were you magaayos na ko kasi may doctor's appointment ka in 30 minutes."
