DL 3: The New Healer

We are heading to our guild to find our leader, Ms. Elena. We need to tell her everything about Sandra's prophecy.

Our leader is the most powerful sorcerer in our guild and of course, may rival din siya sa kalaban naming guild. Makapangyarihan din ang leader ng Ruvekha.

Magkapatid ang leaders ng magkalaban na guild. It sounds cruel right? Magkalaban sila dahil magkaiba sila ng paniniwala.

While walking, I saw some bushes moving strangely. May gumalaw sa halamanan kaya nag-iba ang pakiramdam ko.

"Wait guys," I said.

Huminto naman ang mga kasama ko sa paglalakad. They are staring at me. Nakikiramdam lang ako sa paligid.

Mukha yatang alam na nila ang ibig 'kong sabihin. Everybody is ready to fight and defend ourselves.

"Guys, where's Sandra?"

Napatingin tuloy kaming lahat kay Wanda. Sandra is not with her. After a few seconds bigla na lang may tumalsik na tao sa harapan namin.

We can see a smoke on his body, somebody did this to him.

"Kanina pa niya tayo sinusundan."

We saw Sandra walking towards us. Siya pala ang bumugbog sa lalake.

"He's a sorcerer from Ruvekha," Sandra said.

"So, he is the one who is spying us kanina right?" Tanong ni Dexter.

Umiiling lang si Sandra, she looks disappointed.

"He's not the one who is spying us in school. Wala siyang alam tungkol sa pinag-usapan natin," she said.

"Well, that's a relief," Wanda said.

I felt something. There are vibrations that only I can feel.

"It's not a relief! Defend yourselves! It's an ambush!" I shouted.

I quickly changed my clothes using my magic into a shining silver armor with gold linings.

Biglang lumabas sa mga puno ang mga sorcerers na kanina pa nagbabantay sa amin.

Sumugod ang isang sorcerer kay Wanda. She is just smirking. A sorcerer released a sword from his hand and he tends to s***h Wanda with his sword.

After he slashed his sword, Wanda vanished in the mid-air.

"You're no match for me!"

Suddenly, Wanda appeared in the sky and she is glowing in dark pink magic energy. She is using her dark magic.

She is casting a spell while levitating in the air.

"Reptilicus!"

Bigla na lang niyang ginawang ahas ang espadang hawak ng kalaban niya. Natuklaw ang kalaban niya at unti-unting nanghihina.

"Well, 'di man lang ako pinawisan," natatawa niyang sabi.

Wanda is very good in casting spells because she is using Witch magic. Her power is a form of black magic. It is the power that resides with her.

Tumingin naman ako sa kabilang side, Sandra is fighting a sorcerer.

Sandra's eyes is glowing in sky blue light.

"You dare fight me?" She shouted furiously.

She pointed her finger into her enemy and she released a sky blue vibrations.

Tumalsik ang kalaban niya with just one hit. She's too powerful for her opponent.

Sandra is using Seer's Magic. She can see the future. She can state a prophecy. She is also very good in battle because of her capabilities.

Sa kabilang side naman ay magkasama si Dexter and Jester.

Bumunot si Dexter ng rose sa bulsa niya and...

"Rose whip!"

Biglang naging mahabang latigo ang rose na hawak niya na punong-puno ng matatalas na mga tinik. He hit his target with his rose whip.

Maya-maya ay si Jester naman ang sumugod. He is controlling the rocks.

"Rock pillars!"

He created a pillars made of rocks. The pillars flew into his target. Hindi na nakaiwas ang kalaban kaya napatumba na lang siya.

Dexter is using Plant magic. He can control plants and trees. Jester is using Earth magic and he can control rocks and other elements in land.

"Water geyser!"

Napatingin tuloy ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses at nakita ko si Jared.

He released a massive force of water to hit his target.

"Fire wheels!"

Tumingin ako at si Rex naman pala ang umatake. He released wheel's made of fire that hit his opponent.

Nag-apir pa silang dalawa ni Jared dahil natalo nila ang kalaban.

Rex is using Fire magic while Jared is using Water magic. It's cool kasi magkasundo silang dalawa.

"Zion Strauss..."

Lumingon ako at may isang sorcerer na tumawag sa pangalan ko.

It looks like he is the leader of the sorcerers that ambushed us.

Naghahanda pa lang siya. It's a good timing to cast my spell.

I clenched my two hands and I put it together. Tinapat ko ang mga kamao ko sa bibig ko at...

"Angel's trumpet!"

I released a massive magical silver vibrations into my opponent.

Tumilapon siya palayo and he looks lifeless.

Nalapnos ang balat niya dahil sa spell na ginawa ko. His skin is smoking.

Well, I'm using Holy magic. The spells that I am casting is connected to holiness. It is one of the highest form of white magic.

Natalo namin lahat ng mga kalaban. Lahat sila ay nakabulagta sa daanan at hindi na makagalaw.

After a few seconds, I saw a white dove flying away from us. Kumunot na lang ang noo ko.

"Let's leave them here. Kailangan na nating pumunta sa guild," I said.

Naglakad na lang kami. Hindi naman kasi kami madalas na pumapatay ng kalaban.

Our guild is really far from the city and school. Nakatago ang guild namin sa kagubatan and it is protected by powerful magic barriers.

Only sorcerers can see our guild.

Nakarating na kaming lahat sa guild and there are few sorcerers who are training inside.

Malaki ang guild namin. It looks like a huge castle because of its design.

You can see phoenix carvings on the walls and pillars of our guild. Phoenix is the symbol of Kreterra.

Maya-maya ay pumunta na kami sa room kung nasaan ang guild leader namin.

"Hi mama!" Sandra said while hugging her mom.

Mama ni Sandra ang guild leader namin. They are really close with each other.

"Diba may pasok pa kayo bukas? Malayo ang school niyo. Kailangan niyo pa gumising ng sobrang aga bukas," she said.

"We came here because we have something important so say, Auntie," Wanda said.

Pinsan ni Wanda si Sandra kaya tita niya ang guild leader namin.

"Then, what is it?" Ms. Elena asked.

"Sandra stated a prophecy about a demigod," I said.

"I know..."

Nabigla tuloy kaming lahat dahil sa sinabi ni Ms. Elena.

"Somebody told me about it. Hindi nga lang daw niya masyadong marinig at malayo siya sa inyo," she said.

Nagkatinginan na lang kaming lahat.

So, the sorcerer that transformed into a white dove is the one who told our leader about the prophecy? So it means that he is on our side? Bakit naman tumakbo pa siya?

"Is it a friend or a foe?" She asked.

"He is a powerful ally but also an enemy. 'Yan ang natandaan ko sa sinabi ni Sandra," Jester said.

"So, it is unclear if that sorcerer will be on our side or will be an enemy," Ms. Elena said.

"Kung ganun, paano natin matatalo ang isang demigod kung sakaling kalaban natin siya?" Rex asked.

"We can't beat a demigod," Ms. Elena said.

Nabigla tuloy kaming lahat. So it means that a demigod is really powerful because he is capable of killing all of us? It sounds cruel. It sounds dangerous for our kind.

"The only way to beat a demigod is also a demigod. Kailangan ng sorcerer na kasing lakas niya para matalo siya."

"In sorcerer's history, dalawa pa lang ang naging demigod right? All of them are both deceased. Ano ang pwede nating gawin?" I asked.

"No... I'm not sure if one of them is still living."

Kinakabahan ako sa mga sinasabi ni Ms. Elena.

"Me and Elvira are really powerful right?"

We nodded...

Elvira is the leader of Ruvekha. She wants to control the world by all sorcerers.

"We have a sister named Seilah. Siya ang bunso and she was born as a demigod. Unfortunately, there is also a demigod named Heinous. They both fell in love with each other," she said.

"Then what happened next?" Sandra asked.

"Nabuntis si Seilah. Nagpakalayo-layo silang dalawa. Masaya silang nagsama noon. Then, humans burn their house kasi may nakaalam na sorcerers sila. Nagalit si Heinous and he killed all humans in that province. Dahil sa nangyari, pumunta sila dito sa Kreterra para magtago. Then one day, Sandra is just two years old when she stated her first prophecy," she said.

"Anong sinabi ko noon?" Tanong ni Sandra.

"You said that their child will kill his own father, Heinous."

Nakikinig lang kami kay Ms. Elena. Naluluha ang mga mata niya habang nagkukwento.

"Heinous wanted to kill his own child na nasa sinapupunan pa ni Seilah. They fought because of that. Seilah is protecting her baby inside her womb. Natalo ni Seilah si Heinous but after their battle, Heinous completely vanished at walang nakakaalam kung nasaan siya."

"So, what happened to Seilah and her baby?" I asked.

"Nagpakalayo-layo siya at kahit kami ni Elvira, hindi namin alam kung nasaan si Seilah noon. Until one day, nabalitaan namin na nanganak na siya. Unfortunately, natunton sila ni Heinous. He killed her and their own baby."

Napatulo na ang mga luha ni Ms. Elena habang nagkukwento. It is a very sad story.

"I don't know if Heinous is still existing. Seilah cursed him before she died. Pinalakas ni Seilah ang prophecy ni Sandra na ang anak nila ang papatay kay Heinous. Ang alam ko, patay na ang baby nila pero katawan lang ni Seila ang natagpuan namin."

"Sandali, diba kaya ni Sandra na tignan ang nakaraan at hinaharap? Please, do it now," Wanda said.

"Ok, I'll try..."

Pumikit na si Sandra. She looks confused. Parang humihina yata siya.

"I don't know. Ngayon lang nangyari ito. I can't see the past," she said.

"It is because they are both demigod. Hindi sakop ng kapangyarihan mo na makita sila," sabi ni Ms. Elena.

Sandra looks disappointed.

"Zion, I forgot that the weapon that you are protecting can also kill a demigod. The weapon that was created by your parents and Seilah..."

I smiled... I know what she is talking about.

"Wag muna nating problemahin 'yan. We need to celebrate now," Ms. Elena said.

"Huh? About what?" I asked.

"It's because we have a new healer in our guild. Nakausap ko na si Mama Veron. In fact, they are here."

"Really? Where are they? I wanted to see them specially my grandma," Sandra said.

"Yeah! I also want to see Lola Veron," Wanda said.

Lola Veron is the leader of all healers. Mabuti naman at nakausap na siya ni Ms. Elena. Lola Veron is the mother of our guild leader.

"Nandiyan na sila," Ms. Elena said.

Tumingin kaming lahat sa bintana. There's a huge eagle and a white dove flying outside the window.

Maya-maya ay pumasok na ang dalawang ibon sa loob ng room. They transformed into humans.

Si Lola Veron pala ang eagle. Niyakap naman agad ni Sandra and Wanda si Lola Veron. Napatingin ako sa kalapati at kumunot ang noo ko.

'Yung lalaking tumititig sa akin sa school, si Vile. Siya pala ang white dove na kanina pa nag-eespiya sa amin.

"Hi mga apo... Ito nga pala ang bagong healer na dinala ko dito sa guild. Magpakilala ka sa kanila apo," Lola Veron said.

"Hmmm... Hi sa inyo. I'm Vile Vortex, your new healer. Sana maging friends ko kayong lahat," he said while smiling.

"Ikaw pala 'yung nagsabi kay Ms. Elena ng tungkol sa prophecy. Now tell me, bakit tumakbo ka pa sa school?" I asked furiously.

Napakagat siya sa labi niya at yumuko siya.

"I'm sorry... Hindi kasi maganda ang pagkakakilala mo sa akin sa school, Zion. I'm afraid... Baka kasi bugbugin niyo ako kanina. You're all too strong nung nakita ko kayo na lumalaban. Sorry kung nag-espiya ako sa inyo," he said innocently.

Lumapit sa akin si Wanda at may binulong siya...

"He looks cute and innocent. 'Wag nang mainit ang ulo Zion. Mukha namang mabait talaga siya," she said.

Medyo naiirita ako kasi pa-inosente siya masyado. Baka naman mabait talaga siya at inosente because you will never become a healer if you're not too kind.

"Ok... Hmmm... Hi! I'm Sandra, this is Wanda, Jester, Rex, Dexter and Jared."

"I know all of you. Nice to meet you all," Vile said while smiling.

"Mag-celebrate muna tayo bago ako bumalik sa probinsya. Na-miss ko rin kayo mga apo," Lola Veron said.

Pumunta na kaming lahat sa isang room kung saan maraming pagkain.

Everybody is celebrating and they are all very happy to have a new healer.

A healer is the only one who can heal even deep wounds without a scar.

Healer is very important in our guild.

Hinayaan ko na lang muna sila na mag-celebrate. I don't want here.

Parang hindi ko yata masyadong makakasundo ang bago naming healer and siguro dahil 'yun sa first impression ko sa kanya.

Ganun naman minsan diba? There is a person na hindi mo talaga gusto kahit pa sa una niyong pagkikita and never mo siyang magugustuhan without knowing the reason why.

I just walked away from our guild without anyone who notice me.

Pupunta na lang ako sa may beach na malapit dito. It's my favorite place here...
