Inside The Book

"We're close, my love. Just a little patience." Todd did not know what to prioritize. He is nervous that something bad will happen to his pregnant Selena.  Despite the difficulty, Selena was forced to stand up and hold her boyfriend's shoulder and continue running. She needs to do this, They need to leave this place together.  "They're close. They might catch us, Todd!" There was a trace of fear on Selena's gentle face as she continued to run. She was so afraid, and will not forgive herself if something bad will happen to Todd and to their child.  "No! No way, we have to get out of this hellish place," Todd said determinedly while holding the thick book in one hand. They can already see the tunnel. Tunnel to another world. Selena was surprised when Todd shouted.  Her eyes widened when she saw a sharp object stuck in her boyfriend's shoulder. "Todd ?!" Selena exclaimed.   Todd just nodded, saying he's just fine. He removed the sharp object on his shoulder and continue running. Scary. They were both scared because they might die escaping but they needed to. When they reached a cave with a unique tunnel, Todd immediately pulled out the knife that was in his pants pocket and cut his palm.  He knelt down and pointed the palm of his hand, clasped. He made sure that the blood will flow at every corner of the symbol. Todd's blood had to be shed on all corners of the symbol. Selena looked at the opponents approaching them and looked at the tunnel again.  She kept praying that it would open. She almost jumped when the tunnel opened, she was so happy, She turned to Todd who stood up and frowned because of the wound on his shoulder.  Selena held on tightly to the book, Todd gave it to her while cutting his palm earlier.  Smiling, they entered the tunnel together and at the same time, lost consciousness when it closed
