Umupo na kami sa dining table at nagsimula na ring maghain ang mga maids. Ang tahimik namin at tanging tunog lang ng kubyertos ang maririnig.
"So, when did you plan to get married?" tanong ng papa ni Leon. Ngumiti naman si Leon at tiningnan pabalik ang ama niya.
"We haven't decided on the date yet. But we'll get married in the Philippines," sagot niya.
"That's great! I'm sure Maribella would like to go there. Right honey?"
"Of course!" sagot naman ni Mari. Napangiti naman ako.
"The whole familys here, why not get married here? As if it would change anything. The places ang churches here were far more beautiful. Aside from that, it's more convenient," sabat ni Sabina. Nakita ko naman ang pagkunot ng noo ni Leon.
