My mouth fell open as I fixed my gaze at Damon. Did I hear him right? Willing siyang mag-donate ng dugo? One moment, he was humiliating Ezekiel because of his status. The doctor smiled. He tapped Damon’s shoulder. “Then come with me. We need to perform the procedure as soon as possible.”
Damon’s expression was blank as he turned to me. “Just keep yourself relax here. Babalik din ako pagkatapos nito.”
“O-okay,” I muttered. “Salamat, Damon. Hindi ko akalaing gagawin mo ‘to pero sobang nagpapasalamat ako sa ‘yo.”
“Mamaya ka na magpasalamat kapag successful ang transfusion.” He kissed me on my lips and spun, walking towards the lab with the doctor.
