CHAPTER 1

"Sure ka na ba, Sav? Pwede ka namang umayaw sa offer ni Kyrie! Being a janitress is difficult."

Itinigil ko muna ang pag-iimpake at nilingon si mama. Kahapon kasi ay tumawag si Kyrie at nag-aalok ng trabaho. Sakto at matanda na din naman si papa kaya hindi na niya kayang magtrabaho sa bukid. I realized that I should work to sustent my family.

"Ma, Sure na po ako. Basta, alagaan niyo po si papa ng mabuti." Ngumiti ako bago isinara ang maleta pagkatapos kong iayos ang mga damit. Ngayon ang flight ko kaya kailangan ko ng maghanda.

"Mag-iingat ka doon. Don't let yourself be hungry and be tired." My mother said before hugging me. I tried not to cry but I just can't. I don't want also to leave this house but I don't want to be a burden to my parents.

May natapos naman ako but it's just that, hindi ako masaya sa natapos ko. I want to be an engineer but we can't afford the tuition fee. Business administration lang ang natapos ko dahil iyon lang ang sumakto sa naipon ng magulang ko para sa pag-aaral. May dalawa pa akong kapatid na nag-aaral kaya kahit gaano ko kagustong mag-engineer hindi pwede.

Matapos magpaalam ay lumabas na ako ng bahay. Hindi na ako nagpaalam kay papa dahil hindi rin siya payag dito. Mag-aaway at mag-aaway lang kami at sa huli ay hindi nanaman ako makakaalis kagaya noon.

"Aalis ka na?" A familiar voice on my back said. Napangiti ako at nilingon ang taong iyon.

"William Anderson! Himala at nagpakita ka sakin!" I punch his arm. I miss him but he became busy because of his work. He's an engineer at sa kabilang baryo pa siya nagtatrabaho kaya malayo.

"Baliw! Pero bumalik ka, ha? Kapag hindi ka bumalik, ako pupunta doon!" He exclaimed before hugging me so tight. He's my bestfriend bukod kay Kyrie.

Tinulungan niya akong isakay ang maleta sa loob ng taxi. He hugged me once again before kissing my forehead. He always do that. He's so sweet and I can't help to like him more that friends. Muli kong tiningnan ang bahay namin and I saw how my father cried. It hurts so I just choose to enter the taxi. My tears started to fall.

Malayo layo rin ang Cebu sa Manila kaya inabot ng ilang oras ang flight. Andaming nangyari sa buhay ko but this is the most painful. Leaving my parents. It's so difficult because I live 30 years with my parents. I smiled ng marinig na pababa na ang eroplano.

Manila ang ang una naming naging tirahan. Kung ano-anong kagagahan ang nagawa ko noon but that was my chilhood days. Kumbaga, pinagsisisihan ko na nagawa ko iyon lalo na ang pag-akyat ko sa bahay ng kapitbahay namin.

Pagod kong inilapag ang maleta sa taas ng kama. I rented an apartment na sakto lang sa budget ko. I need to save money. I reach for my phone and call Kyrie. Hindi ko alam kung saang kompanya ako magtatrabaho. Ang alam ko lang ay janitress ang trabaho.

I just let myself to rest. Pagod ang isip at katawan ko sa mga bagay na nagpapagulo sa akin. After I took a nap, I immediately clean myself. I just wear a high-waist jeans and a white blouse. Nagcommute lang ako papunta sa address na itinext sa akin ni Kyrie.

I nearly dropped my jaw when I saw the company where I will work. It was so big and it shouting elegance. I'm sure it was an engineering company because the name says all of it. As I enter the company, The people inside it immediately looked at me.

"Good morning." A male worker greeted. I smiled at him and greet him too but the attention was now focused on a man that make a fake cough. I think he's the boss because his aura make all the employees be quiet and back to work.

Our eyes met and that familiar eyes was like reading my soul. I looked away because my heart suddenly beat abnormally.

Abnormal na puso, Lumalandi na naman

"Savanna Herrera? Follow me," He said with a strict voice. He turn my back on me before walking away. Parang nawala ang bigat sa paligid ng umalis siya. Napatawa nalang ako ng makagalaw na iyong lalaki na bumati sa akin kanina.

"Calm down! Sige na, I need t—"

"Ms. Herrera!" The boss shouted somewhere. I thought he already leave? I smiled at that man, I don't know what his name, before following the boss. I don't like his attitude because he's so autorative.

As we enter his office, I was amazed by the interior. Akala mo ay hindi lalaki ang may-ari dahil sa linis ng opisina. I thought that his office will be messy because he's a man? I mean, yung ibang lalaki kasi may mga condom na nakakalat sa paligid.

"You sure, you want to be a janitress? You don't want to be my secretary or the vice president?" I immediately looked at him when he started to talk. "Or marry me para ikaw na maging C.E.O."

"W-what?" I'm surprised by what he just said o baka guni-guni ko lang na may sinabi siyang ganon? But I heard it! I just shooked my head because different thoughts started to consume my mind.

"Nevermind. I have rules and you need to obey it. I'm the boss so I am the only man you can approach. No talking to other man. Just me. Understood?" He said with an autorative voice, like I can't do anything about it anymore.

"Nandito nga ako para lumandi. Tapos pagbabawalan pa." I murmured hoping that he will not hear it. Ganito ba siya sa ibang janitress? Parang hindi naman, eh. Nakita ko lang kanina yung janitress na nakikipaghalikan sa isang engineer dito.

"Kung gusto mo lumandi, landiin mo ako." Nagugulat ko siyang nilingon at nakita ko nanakatingin siya ng diretso sa mukha ko. Like he was searching something on it but when he failed, he just sighed. "You don't remember me? At all?"

Nagtataka ko siyang tiningnan but when I saw him staring directly at my eyes, I looked away and just look at my feet. Why does he's staring at me like that? Para niya akong hinuhubaran sa paraan ng pagtingin niya.

Char, baka yung malandi ko na namang utak iyon.

He sigh bago isinandal ang likod sa swivel chair niya. "Do you have someone special? Do you have a boyfriend or someone you like?" He asked and by that I suddenly remember William. I suddenly smile at my boss before I nod.

"Yeah. He's so caring and easy to love. And add that he's handsome!" I exclaimed at nagsalita na parang kaibigan ko lang ang kausap ko. My mood always changed when I always thinking about Will.

"Stop. I heard enough. Starting today, No talking about other man. Just talk about me. And one thing, don't wear anything sexy." He stood up and reach my hand then shake it. Electricity flows through my spine so I immediately took away my hand. I don't know why I felt that but I hope he didn't notice it.

"Thank you, Sir." I bow my head as sign of respect before leaving his office. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag ng hindi na siya makita sa harap ko. His intimidating aura make me feel so weak.

"You okay?" The man who greeted me earlier that I don't know until now his name, asked me. I nodded then reach for the bottle of water he was holding. I just need water. I'm going to drink it but someone held my hand and took the water then drink it.

"Nawasa. Not good for health." Boss said before throw the bottle away. His sharp glare darted on the man and me. I just remember his rules but I don't care. Simula pa noon ay pasaway ako kaya hindi ako mapipigilan ng kahit sino. Even it's my boss.

"Savanna, follow me on my office. I just need to clarify something. And you," His glare darted at the man. "You're fired."

Aalma pa sana yung lalaki pero nakaalis na ang boss. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi ko padin alam ang pangalan ng amo ko. Kung makautos kasi wagas pero hindi padin naman nagpapakilala. Sinundan ko nalang siya at pumasok sa opisina niya. Alam kong magagalit ito sa akin dahil sa pagsaway ko sa utos niya.

"What I just say earlier?! No talking to other man! Damn it!" His voice roared around the four corners of the office before he grip his hair.

"Alangan naman na maging snob ako? Edi mawawalan ako ng kalandian. Saka gwapo naman iyon kaya walang lugi." I chuckled but stop when I saw him walking towards me. I want to move away but my body don't let me. Malandi kasi yung katawan ko kaya gusto niyang manatili.

"Landiin mo ako kung iyon ang gusto mo. I'm free and ready to be with you." He said with a husky and sexy voice. He held my chin and make me face him. I held my breath when our lips met. It just a smack but it send so much electricity through my body.

"B-Boss." I want to stop him but my voice became a moan when he started to kiss every part of my face. From the eyes to my lips. His lips was so familiar. Like I kissed those lips in the past.

"Every inch of you is mine. Your lips and body is mine since the day you climbed on my house." He move away and the chuckled when he saw my reaction. I know my face was now red as tomatoes because of what he did. Hahalikan ako tapos mambibitin.

"Back to work before I do something to you," He said before sitting on his chair. I don't want to work, I want to stay here. I want him to do something to me. Choz, ang landi.

Wala sa sarili akong lumabas sa opisina niya at imbes na sa elevator ay sa hagdan ako bumaba kaya ilang beses akong nagpagulong-gulong. Buti nalang hindi ako tinawanan ng mga taong nakakita. Hindi ako tinawanan kundi humalakhak lang. Bakit? Kasalanan ko ba kung tatanga-tanga yung hagdan nila? Patanggal ko nga iyan kay boss pati tanggalin ko ulo ng mga tumawa.

May isang lalaki na tumulong sa akin para tumayo. He held my hand and my waist to support my weight. Halos hindi ako makahinga ng maamoy ko ang pabango ng lalaking iyon. He doesn't smell like a employee here. Amoy putok lahat ng tao dito.

"Are you okay?" He asked and when I looked at his face, I became breathless. Mas gwapo pa siya kay William, dun sa lalaking natanggal at sa boss ko. He's a god!

"I'm fine and you're mine," I said that make him laugh. Pati pagtawa ang gwapo! Saan ka pa? Landi na! I immediately move away when I heard my boss cleared his throat. Parang kabute, kahit saan susulpot.

"Hey, brother of mine!" The man that helped me greeted. So they're brothers? Bakit parang magkaibang-magkaiba? The man who helped me was an angel but my boss is from the top make it drop kasi bawal daw masungit sa langit.

Imbes na batiin ay sinamaan niya lang ng tingin ang kuya niya at ako.

"Oh! This beautiful girl that I helped! The one who say, 'I'm fine and you're mine'. I know she's just new here. Savanna Herrera, right? I'm Kenjiro Fuentes. Nice to meet you. And remember! You're mine!" He said and then wink. I immediately blush and smile. Ang saya pala dito magtrabaho.

"She's mine. Damn it," The boss exclaimed then reach for my hand and pinned me on the wall before claiming my lips into a hot kisses not minding the audience that watching us.

He stopped then immediately leave. I know naman na maharot ako pero bakit ganon? Why he kissed me infront of so many employees? I just stand there, still shocked for what just happened. Just...
