After Karl’s brush with death, Jade moved out of her shared apartment with Jesy and back into her parents’ home. The thought of losing someone else, after already having dealt with the death of her first love, and the near-death of her brother. It took Karl a while, but with the help of physical therapy, he did regain the use and feeling of his legs.
