Planado na ang pag- uwi ni Clinton sa isla sa araw na ito at isasama n’ya kaming dalawa ni Cloudy. Cloudy and I planned to go on a week-long vacation so that my son could finally meet Clinton’s relatives and feel a connection to the place his father grew up. I thought it would be a good way for Cloudy to understand more about his roots and not feel like a stranger when he hears stories about the family and hometown of his father.
This break seemed like the perfect opportunity to relax a bit and clear my mind before starting my job at the hospital and diving into preparations for the board exam. Spending time away from everything felt like a great way to recharge.
