Money Is Not Love

Mary Vrelle Luniere is the daughter of the owner company of L.P.E, one of the richest company of the Asia. On other half, Ashton Kyle Lucas is the one and only son of the second richest company in the Asia. Despite being childhood friend, the two of them were so close to each other that there's no day has passed of being not together. But a bad news hit between there friendship.

" Why do I need to go to that school?" I asked.

"Mary, that school wants you. They offer a scholarship for you there." Mom answered.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes." A scholarship? We have money to pay the tuition, why a scholarship? Or, you just want me to get out of your sight."

"Don't say that! It's not just about the scholarship. It's about you. You'll learn many things there." She tapped my shoulder.

"Yeah? So, you mean that in this school I won't learn many things? Come on!" I frustatedly said.

"Honey, just do what we say. We did this for - " I cut him off.

" For you. Isn't that what you'll gonna say?" I chuckled. "I'm so tired of hearing that word! Just tell me that you all did this just for the sake of you three. Because my sister turned it down you choose me instead" I scoffed and walked out.

When I got out I saw Ashton waiting at the swimming pool yard. I was about to go closer to him when I saw him walking at my sister's direction, smiling.

"Hey." He called.

"Hey, Ashton." My sister said in a flirty way.

"You ain't coming? We're going to Ciello's house, remember?" HE asked while arching his brows.

I was about to come closer to him to say that I'm coming when my sister pulled him para hindi ako makita ni Ashton.

"Yeah, sure. I'm coming, of course." She smiled at Ashton then looked at my direction and smirked.

After that, Mary Vrelle just decided to accept his dad's offer to go to Singapore. Years has passed, they grow up seperately but Ashton didn't knew that Mary is not in philippines anymore. After many years, Mary decided to go back to Philippines.
