“Hey,” Kailani called as we rested near the river bank kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. He doesn’t lok affected at all- I bet he already witnessed worst than this. “Are you okay?’ he asked. Umiwas ako ng tingin and I nodded. I stared directly at the river at tumabi siya sa akin. Actually, nandito talaga kami para magpahinga kasi somehow, the thing that happened earlier was a little bit shocking to us. The others are actually behind the trees samantalang kami ay medyo malayo sa kanila. We don’t really have to worry about demons and stuff kasi the sun is shining bright and seriously, I’m not in the mood to see some piece of filthy shits so kung may lalabas man, I will definately kill it right away. I’m so done with this.

“Where the others?” I asked.

“Resting. Binabantayan ni Gin sina Argo kasi tulog sila, habang si Tempest naman ay sinisilip ang winasak nating nest. The number of people here is quite many so we’re actually expecting to see more of that,” sagot niya and I frowned.

“So we get to kill more humans?” I asked and I glanced at him. “I did became your partner but I never sid I wanted to kill humans. I did not sign up for this, Kailani,” reklamo ko kasi siya naman ang kumuha sa akin sa isla in the first place but still, I’m grateful to have him. That thought will never change.

“And you really think I signed up for this too, Cygnus?” he asked coldly. “You think that incident didn’t affect me at all?” he asked at napalunok ako hindi dahil sa mga sagot niya kung hindi dahil wala akong maisagot.

“There must be another way to save them!” reklamo ko ulit and this time, he grabbed my collar and stared straight to my eyes as if he was directly staring at my soul.

“Cygnus, cut this crap now,” he said coldly as he gripped tighter. “Killing was the only way to save them,” he added at hinawakan ko ang kamay niya pero hindi siya bumitaw. “Then maybe,” he added with a colder voice and it seriously gave me chills. “Then maybe if your father was able to close it completely, this would’ve never happened in the first place,” he added again and my chest started to tightened.

“Are you blaming my father?!” reklamo ko at bumitaw siya.

“Who knows,” he answered at tumayo siya. “You sound like I didn’t care about those humans at all,” he added and glanced back at me with the coldest eyes I’ve ever witnessed. “I was just returning the favor back, you know, the insult and blaming,” he added again and he began to walk away as he left me there- speechless. You stupid partner!

“W-W-Wha- HEY!” I called pero hindi siya lumingon. “Kailani!” I called again at this time napatayo na ako. “HEY!” I shouted pero nagpatuloy siya sa paglakad.

He was walking faster and he disappeared as soon as he entered the forest kaya agad akong tumakbo para sundan siya. I stopped for a while and I saw the Gin preparing light meals habang sng iba ay natutulog. He signaled me to follow him kaya tumakbo ako papunta kay Kailani na naglalakad pa rin palayo. I kept calling but he won’t just look back so I had to fast up my pace para habulin siya. I ran faster at humarang ako sa harap niya. He looked damn cold just as how I met him for the first time when he was standing at the bridge.

“You’re being petty,” reklamo ko.

“You’re blaming me,” he responded quickly.

“What? No- I-I-I just …” hindi ko matapos na sabi because for some reason, a part of his response is correct.

“Just what, Cygnus?” he asked at napalunok ako. “Leave me alone for a while,” he added at maglalakad na sana siya palayo pero bago pa siya makalagpas sa akin. Hinawakan ko kaagad ang kamay niya at umiling ako.

“You are not going anywhere. This is not the right time for this! Masyadong delikado kapag mas lalayo ka!” I reasoned out. He just stared at me at hindi siya sumagot which is kind of awkward. “Okay, look- I’m sorry, okay? I was just frustrated and I vented everything to you,” I added with a sigh pero hindi pa rin nagbago ang expression niya. “It’s just- I know we saved them but somehow, it doesn’t feel right at all,” I added at hinigpitan ang hawak sa kamay niya. Jeez, just accept my apology- I didn’t mean to insult him.

“It’s not that it doesn’t feel right, Cygnus,” he responded and he sighed. “It’s the world,” he added at bumitaw ako.

“The world?” I asked.

“The world doesn’t feel right- the world is scary.” he added and it hit me. He’s right I mean- humans are scarier than demons in some angles. “I apologize for blurting something about your father too,” I added- Oh, well, I forgot about that. I should have not said sorry.

I was about to drag him away pero napatigil ako nang napatingin ako sa kanya. He was just looking down and I saw how his hair danced along with the wind. His lashes were long and his lips are now dry maybe because we haven’t been able to drink much water today. He is really beautiful. My heart skipped a beat when his eyes moved towards me kaya napaatras ako ng konti.

“What?” he asked at agad ako umiling.

“W-Well, uh, nothing, balik na tayo?” I asked and he did not respond. Damn, why are my eyes kept looking at his dry lips?! Nababaliwa na ata ako.

“Is there something wrong?” he asked and he touched his lips. HE NOTICED IT. OH MY- NO, WE SHOULD REALLY HEAD BACK NOW. How bold of me staring at his lips even if we’re in this kind of situation?! Nasisiraan na yata talaga ako nang ulo. He suddenly smirked and glanced at me.

“W-W-W-What?” I asked. Why am I stuttering?! It’s not like I did something wrong right? I mean- staring at someone’s lips ain’t illegal!

He walked towards me at napaatras ako ng todo. Napatigil ako nang may natamaan na kahoy ang likoran ako. He suddenly trapped me in between his arms as his hands touched the trunk of the tree that stopped me from stepping back. His right hand held my chin and he lift it up. Oh damn, why is this point of view turning me on?! I’m into girls!! …before, but now? Well um-

“Why were you staring at my lips?” he asked at napalunok ako.

“I-I-I …I did not,” utal-utal kong sagot and his thum suddenly slid at my lower lip at tumayo talaga lahat nang balahibo ko.

“Dry,” he said and again, my eyes stared at his lips.

“Even yours are dry,” sagot ko pabalik.

“Let’s keep it wet then,” sagot niya and my eyes widened.

“W-W-Wet? What do you mean w-”

Excuse me, what the hell is going on here?!!

My body went stiff when I realized that his lips were sealed into mine as his hand run from my chin to my neck. He gripped my neck and pushed me towards the trunk. The grip wasn’t bad- it was enough- enough to turn me on. Our eyes were open and we stared at each other as it was happening.

He stopped for a while and heard him breath as if he was taking a break. He gave me a smirk and my eyes widened when his knees suddenly touched mine. I got startled to the point na hindi ako makagalaw.

“I just kissed you and you got hard,” he suddenly said at ramdam ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko. I can’t believe I got hard just by that stupid kiss!!

“It will tone down, j-j-just leav eit be. How about we go back?” I asked.

Bumitaw siya sa leeg ko and he suddenly unbuttoned my pants and unzipped my zipper. Pipigilan ko na sana siya but I was too late because he already touched it. 

“K-K-Kailani, stop. We’re in the middle of this dangerous forest, are you kidding me?1” reklamo ko.

“It will take a couple of minutes, I’ll tone this down,” he replied with a smirk.

The next thing I knew, he was already kissing me. His tongue slid inside my mouth and tasted his saliva along with mine. Napahawak ako sa katawan niya sabay pikit when he started rubbing mine with his hand. Bumitaw siya sa halik namin and he started licking my ears kaya mas napahigpit ang hawak ko sa kanya.

“Moan,” he whispered and his hand eventually rubbed faster kaya nilubog ko ang sarili ko sa leeg niya. His tongue travelled from my ear to my neck and I can feel the burning sensation inside me and I’m sure it’s about to go out.  I moaned softly and I heard him chuckled. “You’re almost there, Cygnus,” he added.

His hand stopped and he suddenly slid my pants downward which surprised me. He opened his pants at napalunok ako. Okay- um, I did not expect this to happen!! THIS IS NOT REAL! WE’RE IN A FOREST WITH DEMONS! OH MY GOD.

“K-K-Kailani, I think this is not-” putol kong sabi nang bigla niyang hinawakan ang bewang ko at inangat ako.

“Shh,” iyon lang ang narinig ko at isinandal niya ako sa puno. He kissed me and that’s it- his went inside mine from the back. I was able to suppress my voice because he was kissing me. This is our second time doing this! He thrusted slowly and seriously I think I’m about to finish. Bumitaw siya sa halaik namin at linubogko ulit ang sarili ko sa leeg niya.

“K-K-Kai…lani,” I called.

“Hm?” he responded with that and he suddenly thrusted faster so I held to him tightly while my eyes were closed.

This is … surprisingly good.

“Don’t worry, I’m about to be finish too- you’re seriously turning me on, Cygnus. I can’t resist anymore,” he added and my eyes widened when I felt a stinging pain in my neck. Did he just-

“A-Ah-w-w-what the-” putol kong sabi at tinakpan ko ang bibig ko. He’s thrusting and biting me at the same time!! Kailani, I’m really about to-

“Cygnus,” he whispered and just like that- I came. He also stopped thrusting and I felt something was flowing down from inside me- he also came.

He took off his from behind me at hinabol namin ang paghinga namin pareho. Napaupo ako sa grass at hinabol ang hininga ko.

“Uh, the best s*x is really after an argument,” he jokingly said and I glanced at him with cold eyes. “Stop Cygnus, you’re turning me on again. We can’t have another round here,” he added and I rolled my eyes.

I was about to stand up to wear my pants again pero napatigil ako when I saw a figure behind Kailani. I peeked through and my body froze. Ramdam ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko at nakita iyon ni Kailani kaya lumingon siya. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING.

“U-U-U-Um-” Kali said at nahulog niya ang dala niyang mansanas. “I-I-I, um-G-G-Gin .. c-c-called,” utal-utal niyang sabi at napatingin sa akin. This is embarrassing, I don’t think I can face everyone now. “M-M-Magbihis muna k-kayo,” he added. “L-L-Lalo k-ka na, Cygnus. I didn’t know you’re into like this,” he added at napatingin siya kay Kailani who was just smirking.

“Sure, we’ll be right there. We’ll clean ourselves first,” Kailani responded cheerfully.

Of all the people, why Kali?!!
