"What are we going to do here..."
"Shhhh" panggaya ni Rouhi sa ginawa niya kanina at marahang inilagay ang hintuturo sa bibig niya. Hinapit siya sa bewang at iginiya papasok sa gilid at doon sila dumaan.
Kinilabutan siya sa pagpasok sa simbahan. Kailan ba siya huling pumasok doon at nagdasal? She can't remember. She's not a practicing Catholic pero nagdadasal siya in her own ways. Pero iba pala ang pakiramdam ng nandoon ka mismo sa loob ng walang tao. It was so quite. Very peaceful and relaxing, allowing her mind to wander. Absolutely beautiful, delightfully ominous and heavy at the same time.
Naramdaman niya ang kamay ni Rouhi sa balikat. "I may not have the chance to ask your mother for your hand now. But I will ask God for it. We will not spend the night together without this."
