When We Collide

Ralph’s P.O.V I’m on a date right now. Rafael called me a few days ago and told me that they are going to celebrate of having a new house. I’m with a woman that my mom set up from me. She really wants me to settle down and I didn’t refuse her. I might find the girl I will love more than I love Althea. “Ralph, I’ll use the restroom. Can you wait me here?” Beatrice, the woman my Mom set up for me, asked. Her hands slowly slide on my arms. I smirked. This woman is not really different from the others. “Sure,” I said with a smile. She smiled widely and left me outside. I stood up and sighed. I don’t think that I will like this woman. I looked around and I saw a people gathering on the activity area of the mall. I got curious so I ask an old man near me. “Excuse me. If I may ask, what’s happening over there?” I asked. He looked at me and I was amused because he looks like in panic. “Ahm.. der-der is actors o-ober der! Nag-aanu..” I think he’s having a hard time talking in English. “You can talk to me in Tagalog, I can understand.” I saw relief on his face when I said that. “Nakakaintindi pala ng Tagalog, pinahirapan pa ako ng batang ‘to!” I didn’t catch what he said. He’s mumbling. “Pardon? I didn’t catch what you said.” The old man smiled widely. “May mga artistang kasing dumating. Mall tour ata ang tawag nila doon,” He answered. I nodded and went back on my place earlier. Actors? Well, I am not interested. I felt my phone vibrated and I was about to fished out my cellphone when someone collided to me and felt something splashed on my clothes and pants. “Holy F*ck!” I step back and looked at my clothes. F*ck! The water or something liquid that stains my clothes on the awkward part of my pants. Damn it! “Oops! Sorry kuya! Nagmamadali ako!” Said the woman and then she run away. I was quite shocked! This is the first time someone run away after spilling a water on me. Usual they will compensate me or even asked me to come with them but that woman just run away?! I was really thankful that it wasn’t hot or for sure I am boiled. Damn it! Whoever that woman is, I’ll make her pay the next time I see her! If we collided again.
