Xyna's POV
Nagising ako at nakitang nasa maliwanag na lugar ako.
"Hey." dinaluhan ako agad ni Benedict. "How are you feeling right now?"
Umangat ako para umupo. "Ayos naman na. Ano bang nangyari kanina?"
"You fainted. Kaya dinala ka agad namin dito sa clinic." paliwanag naman nya.
Iginala ko ang mga mata ko sa clinic. "Sina Claire asan?"
"Nakauwi na sila kanina pa. Pinag paalam nalang kita sa tito at kuya mo na ako na ang maghatid sayo mamaya pauwi. Tulog kapa kasi kanina e." paliwanag naman nya.
Antagal ko palang walang malay.
"Ahh ganun ba. Maraming salamat ah? Dika na dapat nag abala pa."
"It's okay. I just wanna say sorry din for what happened kanina."
"Ba't ka nagso sorry e di naman ikaw ang may kasalanan?" natatawa kong sabi.
Ngumiti lang sya. "Are you okay now? I'll take you home."
"Sige, tara."
Tumayo na ako at nagpaalam na sa nurse ng clinic.
Pagkatapos namin magpaalam ay inalalayan naman ako ni Benedict sa paglalakad. Dala dala nya rin ang mga gamit ko.
Hinayaan ko nalang sya sa pag alalay nya sakin. Lalo na't medyo nahihilo pako.
Naglakad kami hanggang sa makaratin kami sa isang kotse. Sasakyan nya siguro to.
Inalalayan nya muna ako sa pagsakay. Nang masiguradong komportable na ako, umikot na sya at pumunta sa driver's seat.
"Let's go?" tanong nya.
Ngumiti naman ako at tumango.
Pina andar na nya ng tuluyan ang sasakyan. Nakatingin naman ako sa tanawin sa labas habang nagmamaneho sya.
Benedict's POV
"Pasensya kana ah? Di tuloy natuloy yung plano natin dapat ngayon." she broke the silence while were in the middle of traffic.
"No, it's okay. I understand." I smiled at her.
She just smiled at me and look outside.
"Wow. Andami palang nagtitinda ng street foods dito no?" she said and looked at me. "Nakakain kana ba ng mga street food?" she asked.
I shook my head. "Not yet. Why did you asked?"
"Seryoso?"
I nodded.
"Tara! Kain muna tayo dito. Nagugutom na din kasi ako."
"A-are you s-sure? Dito t-talaga tayo kak-kain?" I nervously said.
I don't mean to offend her but I look at the place at nakita ko na may makakapal na usok. And it's my first time going to a place like that. Crowded din sya kasi maraming nagtitinda, nakahilera, unlike sa nakasanayan kong mga resto's na peaceful lang.
"Oo naman. Huwag kang mag alala. Masasarap yang mga pagkain dyan. Ako mismo mag guide sayo." she smiled.
"O-okay."
I parked my car nearby and we walk towards the place.
I was surprised when she grabbed my hand to introduce to me the foods that they sell here.
"Ang tawag dito ay isaw. Eto naman ay betamax. Adidas, leeg ng manok at marami pang iba." she said while smiling at me. "Siguro maganda kung bumili tayo ng tig dalawa neto lahat para masubukan mo." she paused. "Huwag kang mag alala. Libre kona to."
"Okay then." I said while covering my nose. Napaka mausok kasi.
"Sige. Ipapa ihaw ko na to." she said.
I just nodded.
"Ate ipapa ihaw kona po tong mga to." sabi nya sa tindera.
The lady took our orders and grill them.
"Upo muna tayo dun habang hinihintay yung order natin." she said.
"Okay."
We sat down on 2 chairs with a table in front of us and waited for our orders.
"Do you usually eat in a place like this?" I asked her.
"Oo naman."
"Ohh I see." I said and roamed my eyes.
"1st time mo lang nyan na kumain sa gantong lugar no?"
"Yeah."
"Grabe naman pala. Ako pa nakasama mo sa pinaka unang beses mo haha."
"Sorry if I'm not that comfortable ah? Usually kasi na kinakainan naming mga restaurants, tahimik lang. Hindi gaanong maraming tao. Kaya di ako masyadong sanay hehe." I shyly said.
"Naku, okay lang yun. Naiintindihan ko naman kasi galing ka sa mayamang pamilya." she paused. "Tsaka sure ako na kapag natikman mo kung gaano kasarap yung pagkain dito, babalik balikan mo." she smiled.
I smiled back.
"Eto napo yung order nyo." a lady approached us and put our order on the table.
"Salamat po." Claire said to the lady and look at me after. "Kain na tayo." she paused and took a stick with a curve meat in it. "Unahin natin tong isaw."
"Is this a small snake?" I asked.
She chuckled. "Anong ahas? Bituka to ng manok."
"Ohh, sorry. My bad haha!"
"Turuan kita kung paano to kainin." she said and dip the stick of isaw in the sauce. "Isawsaw mo lang sya dito sa sauce or dyan sa suka then kainin mona sya." she ate it. "Hmmm.. Sarap. Try mo din." she said while chewing.
"O-okay."
I copied what she did. I dip it in the sauce and close my eyes while eating it.
I open my eyes in shock. "Wow. Its delicious!" I said while savoring the food.
"Sabi ko sayo masarap e." she said. "Subukan naman nating isawsaw sa suka." she dip the isaw in vinegar and eat it.
I follow what she did and dip it this time in vinegar. And then I ate it.
"I can't believe that these foods are delicious." I said while chewing. Enjoying the food in my mouth.
Wow, amazing! I was today years old. Kung di dahil kay Xyna di ko matitikman ang mga gantong pagkain.
She smiled at me when she saw me enjoying the foods in front of us.
Nagku kwentuhan kami at nagtatawanan habang kumakain.
After we finish all the foods, I was gonna pay for it but she insisted.
"Diba sabi ko libre ko na?" she said.
I feel bad kung magpapa libre lang ako ngayong gabi. Nakakahiya sa kanya.
"Xyna?" I called her and she immediately look at me. "What do you call the food that they sell there?" turo ko sa isang pwesto na parang tricycle.
"Ahh tusok tusok yung mga yan. Gusto mo rin itry?"
"Yeah, but I'm gonna pay this time. Deal?"
"Sige na nga. Deal." she answered.
She again held my hand and walk towards the stall.
I can't stop staring at our collided hands and her smiling face while walking.
When we arrived at the stall, we get our orders and put it in a plastic cup. We put sauce on it and get a stick.
"Cheers?" she said and lift her stick.
I chuckled and made a stick toast with her. "Cheers."
We started eating it.
"Woah, this is hella delicious!" I said in amazement.
She just laughed at my reaction.
We happily ate it. I don't care about my healthy diet right now. Today is cheat day haha.
3rd Person's POV
I'm currently watching the two of them happily eating street foods.
Seriously? Isang Benedict Castro kumakain ng street food? Surprising.
"Enjoying yourselves, huh? Let's see."
I got in my car and drove away.
