I’m looking outside the window, it’s dark and peaceful. But’s it’s not helping me at this moment because my thoughts keep on invading my sanity. Xander and I are both quiet. I don’t know where we’re heading to. I’m just letting him drive.
“Ely, you didn’t eat yet, right?” Xander asked softly while still looking straight in the road.
“Ayos lang hindi pa rin naman ako nagugutom.”
Nilipat nito ang tingin sa’kin. “Can you wait? I’ll order food. I’m really starving,” he chuckled a bit trying to lift-up the mood. Tumango lang ako sa kaniya bilang pag-ayon.
Wala akong nararamdaman na gutom ngayong mga oras na ‘to. I still feel full even though I didn’t eat earlier.
