Theo's POV
All our eyes were focused on the two people who were all smiles in entering the dining area.
My heart began to skip pulsing. I couldn't hide my admiration and longing to hold her.
But as they were getting nearer, I couldn't help but to grimace. Miel's hand was cradled at the crook of Caloy's filthy arm.
'Ang sarap paulanan ng suntok ang kapatid ko.'
"Sweetheart," Yuri's voice broke the eerie atmosphere. Hinihintay kong tapunan ako ng tingin ni Miel but it was as if I was a mear dot that she couldn't see.
Her eyes lingered from one person to the other in the dining but avoiding me.
‘Fvck why is she avoiding me?’
Then her gazes stopped and looked at Yuri. Kumawala siya sa pagkaka-abrasyete kay Caloy at humakbang para yakapin si Yuri.
