The Otherside World

     "Whats the use of wealth in the world wealth if my heart is hungry for love "Allie wrote that words in her old notebook which serves as her diary. It serves as a secret, friend. Allie took a deep breath and slowly lay down in the grass. She had many questions in her mind as she tried to enjoy the nature as she try to rest in the stream. It is one  their source of drinking water.  She knew that when she returned to their house, she would return to being a servant. Allie made the most of the rest by the stream she was taking in water or washing clothes. She felt the fresh air coming from the forest and relax while listened to nature's song. No matter how tired and resentful she was for the world. Somehow as of the moment her miserable life is partially gone.        Allie or Alyana Fernando was fourteen years old and at a young age she experienced  growing up a life full of suffering and pain. As a teen she cries out and long for a true family, a family that has love. From the time she was conscious about life she became aware of the fact that she was not considered a family member. Her mind could not fully understand why she's like an unwanted child of the family, unlike other of her friends their family treated them with care and love, but she didn't experienced this kind of care, it was different especially with her mother. She always hears a bad word, an endless command and physical abuse whenever she does something wrong or forgets something there's always a consequences. Everything she experiences with her mother is contrary to the treatment of her parents to her older brother Arnold and their youngest Kathy who almost feel all the pampering and love of the world. Even in her study they always criticize  her and wants her to stop  because she  was only wasting their money while her siblings can do whatever they want. Allie's questions of being an unwanted was answered when she heard the story of the part of her life. She was an illegitimate child. At first she was in denial of what she discovered. She wants to run fast as she can just to make those truth go away. Her mother did not love her because she was a child of a bad man. She still remembers the story of her mother and neighbors. Due to the poverty in their province her mother went to Manila and left his older brother Arnold and uncle Nilo her mother's husband. A bright future that her mother hoped and promise to her family suddenly disappeared. The son of her  mother's boss r***d her and Allie was the result. When the bosses found out, they were angry with her mother and accused her of being flirty with their son that's and kicked her out. Allie felt the pain of her mother's words in her story. Allie  somehow realized  and understand why she treated that way. Who would love a child from a man who ruin the family of her mother, the man  who destroy their  dream. To make it less painful, Allie just thinks that she is lucky because she was not aborted  by her mother and she is still fed for free even though sometimes  it's too much but that is what her life now.It is very painful to live every day and face a sin that you did not commit and because you only the result you have no choice but to accept everything. Sometimes she can't stand the physical and emotional pain whenever she is blamed for a mistake she didn't make. She wants to find her real father and hurt him for being the caused of her miserable life. Why did she have to suffer that her father did to her mother. It's no secret  in Allie's place, many took pity on her and wanted to report to the DSWD about the abuse but because their place was a remote town  and far from civilization, no one had the courage to save her. Others just secretly hand him food or money  Allie's tears fall down  as she thought about her life. Sometimes she wanted to run away, went to the forest near them and then never  came back. But she couldn't she's still young. She can't no longer escape the fact that she is a child of a r****t that's why she must accept destiny.
