{Chapter 6}

Tanya's POV.

Kakagising ko lang ngayon.. Oo nga pala ngayon ang pagtransfer ng mga pinsan ko kay Tita Natalia..

"Anong oras na ba?" I said as I looked at my alarm clock.

"What the fudge? I'm almost late na?! I only have 8 minutes before I get late. " I said before started to fixed myself.

After I take a bath, I wear my school uniform and came running outside. I don't have time to eat breakfast since I'm gonna be late na.

While I'm running I bumped into someone making me fell. I looked up just to see Shan's face.

"Shan?!"

"Tanya?!"

Both of us yelled. But we both started running since we're running late.

We both came inside the campus before 3 minutes. Both of us are panting heavily because of running. I almost tripped earlier if Shan's not there I might have a bruised.

"Tanya! Bakit parang hingal na hingal ka? Pati si Shan. Anyare sainyo?" One of our classmates said.

"Teka lang hinihingal pa'ko teh. Hinay hinay lang sa pagtanong" I said as I kept breathing heavily.

"Oh tubig" She said.

I drink the water before speaking.

"Thank you"

"So ano nga?" She asked.

"Malamang tumakbo" I said.

"I need context teh" She said.

"So I woke up late and I almost get late kung di ako nagmadali baka late na ako. Then when I was in my way papuntang school I bumped into Shan pero bago kami magsalita tumakbo na agad kami since almost late na kami. Gets?" I said before sitting down on my chair.

"Ahh pero ayieee" She said making me raised one of my eyebrows.

"Ayiee mo mukha mo atsaka yuck duh. We're enemies and he's also my nemesis at everything. So don't assume na magiging kami." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Sus pwede namang enemies to lovers diba? attitude mo naman teh." She said making my face twisted in disgusted.

"Look at his face. He always have a cocky smirk and that doesn't suits him like yuckk" I said.

"Ewan ko sayo, Tanya. Kapag naging kayo talaga." She said.

"I'd rather to be with the trash than to be with him. Duh." I said.

"Guys! andyan na si Ma'am Chavez!" One of our classmates yelled as all of my classmates including me and the girl I'm talking to sat down on our seat.

"Okay, Goodmorning 10-Crimson" Ma'am Chavez said.

"Goodmorning! Welcome to 10-Crimson!, Mrs. Chavez" We said.

"okay you guys may sit down silently now" Ma'am Chavez said as we all sat down.

"For our lesson today is about Arithmetic sequence and geometric sequence. I've assigned you guys to research about our topic for today so who can give me the meaning of our lesson for today" Ma'am Chavez added.

I raised my hand and saw that Shan also raised his hand. Of course we're rival.

"Oh right. Ms. Dela Cruz and Mr. Villafuerte. The two students who's always at the dean's list. The only students who's fighting for the top 1 spot. Okay Ms. Dela Cruz you'll tell me the meaning of arithmetic sequence while Mr. Villafuerte, you'll tell me the meaning of geometric sequence. alright. Tanya go." Ma'am Chavez said as I stood up.

"Arithmetic sequence is a sequence where each succeeding term is obtained by adding a fixed number or a constant called the common difference." I said confidently.

"Very good, Tanya. And for the Geometric sequence. Shan go." Ma'am Chavez said before I sat down and watched Shan explain.

"Geometric Sequence is a sequence where each term is obtained by multiplying to a non-zero constant or a fixed number called common ratio." He said confidently.

"Very perfect, Shan. Now for the meaning of Common Difference and Common Ratio. Give me the comparison of the both topic" Ma'am Chavez said as I raised my hand with Shan.

"Same hands. Students did you guys not did a research? Only Tanya and Shan? Students I won't tolerate your behaviors just because you guys are bus— Oh Keisha. Go on tell me your thoughts about the comparison of the two topics" Ma'am Chavez said when she saw Keisha raised her hand.

"Common Difference is about succeeding term minus preceding term while Common Ratio is about dividing the two consecutive terms in geometric sequence." Keisha said.

"Precisely, Ms. Anderson" Ma'am Chavez said.

"Okay so I'll discuss first the Arithmetic Sequence and Common Difference." Ma'am Chavez added as she started showing the lessons on the TV.

"who could answer this?" She asks.

I raised my hand followed by Shan.

"Tanya" She said.

"The answer is 22" I said.

"Precisely. But explain your answer to the board for them to know why 22 is the answer" She said as I go to the board to explain the answer.

"In short 22 is the 10th term of the arithmetic sequence." I said before going back to my seat.

"Okay. Next question" Ma'am Chavez said before sliding the next question.

Shan raised his hand faster than mine.

"Shan. Answer it and explain it to the board" Ma'am Chavez said.

"The answer is 65" Shan said before going to the board.

"Therefore, 65 is the 1st term of the arithmetic sequence." Shan said before going back to his seat.

"Very good, Shan" Ma'am Chavez said before the bell rang.

"Okay students. Make sure to research all topics that we tackle today. That's all. Goodbye 10-Crimson" Ma'am Chavez added.

"Goodbye and Thank you very much, Mrs. Chavez" We all said before packing our things to go home.

Keisha came to me.

"The lesson today was a little tougher than I thought" She said.

"Yeah but I still can manage though" I said.

"Let's go. They're must be waiting for us now" She said as I nodded and walk away with her.

"Keisha wait!" Someone called out her name as we both turned around just to see Shan and Jc's face.

"What is it, Jc? Tell me because we're in a hurry" Keisha said.

"Here's some chocolate, my bag is already full" He said as I noticed Keisha's face lit up when she saw the chocolates.

"Alright Thanks." She said as she took the chocolates and put it on her bag before pulling my hand and walk outside the classroom.
