Kabanata 28

THAT question made him stop for a moment. God knows how tempted he is right now to say yes and claim her all over again. Wala siyang pakialam. “You’re still sore,” he replied and breathed softly, trying to calm himself and his growing dragon inside his pants. Meera swallows hard, breathing heavily. He doesn’t doubt if she could just touch her he’d feel her pulse racing, and if he could do what he wanted, he feels her wet flower and ready for his. Before and up until now, she tries to act like she’s so unaffected but he knows that look in her eyes. That familiar look in her eyes can make his heartbeat go crazy. “So we’re not doing it?” Lost in the way she’s staring at him and how she’s biting that full bottom lip, his hand slowly reaches up. His fingers twitch with the need for her touch. Dying to feel that silky smooth skin beneath his fingertips. She closes her eyes in anticipation, a soft breath escaping her mouth. “Oh, Gosh! Jelome!” Upon hearing her soft moan, he drops his hand before making contact with her flushed cheek. Meera’s eyes flutter open, a flash of disappointment as she watches him back away. “Why?” she almost whispers. “I want to do you, sweetheart. But I’ll behave, as promised.” “Uhm. Okay,” she replied shortly and averted her gaze for a second. Her heart leaps into her throat. The look on his face mirrors her own emotions, his jaw hanging open while comprehension fills his wide eyes. “I care a lot about you, Meera.” Stumbling back, she looks at the dew-covered grass and shakes her head hoping to stir up some kind of response. Her mind is fuzzy, her dazed thoughts replaying his words on loop. “I care a lot about you, Meera.” “I care a lot about you, Meera.” “I care a lot about you, Meera.” Ibinalik ni Meera ang mata sa binata. She’s dumbfounded by the intensity of his stare. Punong-puno ng determinasyon ang kaniyang mata. Something’s changed. The tension between them shifting, sending both of their bodies into fight or flight mode. She step back and he steps forward. One step. Two step. Three step. He encircle his arms around her waist to support her. Adrenaline pumps through Meera’s veins, thick with fear. Fear of falling into something deep and fear to fall into a trap. “Be careful, Meera. Sa akin ka lang dapat mahulog, hindi sa bangin, at mas lalong hindi sa iba. You are mine.” Jelome closes the distance between them, backing her up. Just inches in front of her face a raw feral look blankets his features, a sign that the dam inside of him has finally broken. Teasing and cautious, he is prepared to give her everything she’s too scared to have. Bahala na. Meera reached for his nape and claim her lips using her. She initiated the kiss, and that kiss means something to him. That’s not just a kiss, it’s more than that. His chest aches. His heart hammering away trying to reach out to her. The thump-thump-thump a desperate cry for attention. “No,” he whispers, fighting his heart’s desperate pleas. His eyes are locked on her like she is the only thing he can see. And the world around them is fading to black. “We neep to stop, Meera,” he pleaded. “Really?” Her eyes turned three hundred and sixty degrees. “You need to stop doing that Meera or else-” “Or else what?” Tanong niya na mayroong tinig ng panghahamon. Umarko ang isa niyang kilay, challenging him and waiting for his reply. “Damn,: he cursed himself. “Let’s get inside the car. My car, sweetheart.” With nimble fingers, he unties the cape of her top and lets it fall to the ground of his car, revealing her n****e tape. “s**t! You’re not wearing a bra?” He uttered furiously. “I don’t. Tatlo lang ang dala ko at para lang ‘yon sa dagat. Hindi ako sanay magsuot ng bra dahil masakit sa dibdib at sagabal sa magandang outfit.” “Damn baby!” The cool breeze trickles her bare shoulders but there’s no chill, not with his hard heated body this close. “What?” “Paano kung maalis ‘yung dikit niyan, o ‘di kaya naman ay malaglag. Damn. Bukas na bukas ay bibilhan kita ng sampung dosena na bra.” “No! My body, my rules, Jelome. Tsaka kahit naman hindi ako magsuot nito ay wala namang makikita sa akin,” she fired back. “Dinaig pa nga ng size ng elementary student ang size ng akin,” mapait niyang dagdag. “It’s fine, sweetheart.” He planted a kiss on her forehead. “Your size perfectly fits mine. It was like your breast are perfectly carved for my hands.” Biting her lip, her eyes drink their fill. He gently removed her n****e tape and pull hers against his naked chest with one hand while the other skates up to her arm and across her shoulders. Her body responds like a drug feigns, trembling from his touch. A shiver slithers down her spine worse than any cold chill while a trail of fire simmers across her skin. Hot and cold, that’s how it always is with them. It is a messy combination but she never felt anything more than intoxicating. “You’re dripping wet for me, sweetheart.” He pushes against her, trapping her against the door of his car, with his minty breath skating across her lips. “J-Jelome,” she stammers, already losing the fight as her body melts against his, relishing the feel of his ripped muscles pressing against her. Ingnoring her, Jelome’s hand moves to trace his thumb across her bottom lip. He is clearly teasing her. Hindi na nakatiis ang aktres at siya na mismo ang humalik ulit sa binata. “Aggressive Meera,” smirking, he said. “Why do I obsess about kissing you again? Why do memories of holding you still haunt me?” Her face pinches in agony. “Why can’t I do the right thing and leave you alone?” She won't know what’s right and wrong anymore, but whatever it is, he’s throwing it out the window. Making her pulse race, his ocean eyes shine with a decision that’s going to leave a permanent mark on both of them. Like a set of handprints in cement or a tattoo inked onto the skin. “Because you love me,” he answered. “Maybe,” she whispers. With a twitch in his jaw, he wraps his hand around the back of her neck and does one thing that’ll change everything; he slams his lips against her. All her fighting and thoughts of denial vanish into thin air. Forgetting every reason why this is a mistake, Meera kisses him back. It starts slow, retesting once familiar waters, but nothing about Jelome is ever slow. His hands travel up my body. Grasping for leverage and finding the perfect hold on her jaw to tilt her head back. His tongue glides across her lips, asking for entrance, attentive, and hungry. Panic pricks her thoughts, digging through the fog and preventing her from accommodating his request while her hands still gripped his strong shoulders, desperately holding onto him. A pained growl tears from his throat and reverberates through her chest as he sucks Meera’s bottom lip into his mouth and tugs with his teeth. She whimpers as an intense ache builds in the pit of her stomach, smashing through any defense she has left. That’s Jelome, a bulldozer shattering every wall she fights to hold up. Relentless and demanding, he never gives up, and as frustrating as that’s been, it’s also incredibly hot. It’s that cocksure attitude knowing what she wants even if she won’t admit it to herself that strokes and flames inside her. She doesn’t hesitate, opening her mouth as her body shakes with excitement.   And when that moment that his tongue wraps around her, she knows she’s a goner. “I thought were not doing it tonight?”
