"Where are you going, Charmaine?" Cassie asked when I saw her leaning in front of our class. She was wearing her usual uniform for cheerleading, a long cardigan with multiple buttons over a collared blouse, paired with a modest ankle-length wool skirt that was darker than her shirt. She is wearing her favorite white sneakers with high socks, which is part of their uniform for today's opening remarks for the intramural.
