I repeatedly hit Kevin on his head out of irritation because of what he said. Some of my friends burst into laughter when they heard what he said, and Celeste was one of them. She teasingly pinched me on my cheek, which reddened my whole face because of embarrassment.
"Why?" she asked while laughing playfully. "Do you think Kevin can still not move on from your relationship?"
