LEWIS WENT to his room to finally sleep. Bumaba ako para i-check si Rive kung ano na ang kanyang ginagawa sa sala. Naabutan ko siyang palabas ng bathroom, only wearing a towel wrapped around his waist. Basa ang buhok at amoy ko ang ginamit niyang shampoo and body wash na pag-aari ko. I can smell it all over the hallway.
“You’re going out looking like that?” taka kong tanong sa kanya.
Anais is just around, hindi ako sigurado kung natutulog na siya. If he is comfortable walking around half-naked, I am not. I stared at Rive and saw his neck and chest, namumula at mapupungay ang mga mata.
