Jess' POV
*RING *RING
I sat up and reached for my phone. I'm used with being woken up by either Chelsea or Lavalee's call so seeing Lavalee name flashing on my screen is not new anymore.
I swiped it to the right and placed it near my ear.
[Ohayo, Jess!] Lavalee greetd me and I heard some clanking of metal, maybe she's cooking while holding her phone.
I heard Jace chastising Lavalee about using phone near the stove
[Anyways, never mind that, get up now, okay?] Lavalee said and hanged up
I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a bath, I wore red skater skirt, white blouse and I wore a black blazer over it. I wore a black knee high socks and black shoes with 3 inches heels. I charged my phone and made sure that I have all my things inside my bag. A binder with ten fillers, three black pens, one blue and green pen, a water bottle, my wallet and my make up kit.
I went out of my room and saw that Mnemosyne is in the hallways again. I don't know but I think this tiger doesn't go down unless all of us are already downstairs.
She started scratching on Irene's door meaning Irene is still in her room so I went ahead and went downstairs.
"Ohayo!" Lavalee greeted me when I entered the kitchen I saw how Chelsea smirked and my forehead knotted because Jace looked at me from head to toe
"It's not our uniform, noh." Lavalee said while chuckling and Jace shook his head and placed the uncovered lunch boxes on the table.
Huh?
"Morning." Irene said and I looked at her
I was confused because she's wearing the same thing as I am wearing.
"What? Sabi ni Lav ganito daw ang suuotin natin." Irene said and sat on the chair beside me
"Besides, isn't it nice to wear uniform clothes on our Intrams?" Lavalee asked and that's when I remembered that we'll be participating in our Division Intrams
"Bakit hindi ka pa nakabihis?" Irene asked Lavalee
"Obviously I cooked kaya!" Lavalee said and sat on the chair.
Jace handed her a lotion like bottle which she applied on her hand. We started eating when Jace sat on the chair.
"May uniform pala ang RFA?" Capsian asked and Lavalee shook her head
"Wala. We believe in freedom of choosing clothes." Lavalee replied
"Bagay sa inyo. Ang ganda niyo." Ethan complimented and I don't know if I'm imagining thing or if I really did see Chelsea blush.
Lavalee smirked at me and pointed at Chelsea with a teasing smile which means she saw it too.
Looks like Crystal Chelsea Lim is going to get her own love life. I think Ethan is a good man naman kaya I think he'll be good for Chelsea.
After we ate we went to our rooms to take our stuff, when we got out of our rooms, I saw Lavalee wearing the same thing as we are the difference is that her blazer has an embroidered fire. As usual.
"Wow, ang ganda niyo tingnan pag magkakatabi." Elijah commented when they saw us downstairs.
I know right! We're really beautiful.
"Pansin ko lang, laging may nakaburdang apoy sa damit ni Lavalee." Caspian said and pointed at Lavalee's blazer
"Name tag?" Jace asked and Lavalee smirked before flipping her hair
"Pangalan ko." Lavalee said and flipped the embroidery.
So there's L.F.H. embroidered behind that's why there's an embroidery of fire. Nice. We really won't suspect that her initials we're embroidered.
"Literal na apoy yung pangalan mo noh?" Ethan said and Lavalee nodded
"Kay Chelsea din." Ethan said so we looked at Chelsea who shook her head
What does he mean na kay Chelsea din.
"Crystal sea. Chel can be shell." Ethan added and I caught a smirk form in Irene and Lavalee's faces.
"Uh let's go, we'll be late." Chelsea said awkwardly with her face flushed.
Aww Chelsea's blushing!
"Are your things ready?" she asked and some butlers went in
"Young ladies, your things are now in the compartment." Butler Jon, Lavalee's personal butler said
"Let's go." Lavalee said and we went out of the Mansion. I was still carrying my small bag since I'll be using this on the intellectual exams.
I rode the car and Caspian drove to the school. It's still early so I hope there's no traffic because we need to be at the Academy by 6:45AM and it's only 5:55AM we still have approximately 49 minutes.
When we arrived at school we strut the hallways confidently and of course we've became the center of attention. Especially since, the guys are carrying our small travel bags.
"Uniform?"
"Ang pauso naman."
"Ba't ang laki ng bag nila?"
"Lakas ng trip."
"Shet! Ang sexy!"
"Ang ganda."
"I know right." I said and flipped my hair, I saw Lavlaee chuckling, she must've heard what I said
"You're skirt's too short." Jace said because Lavalee's skirt reaches two inches above her knees and her knee high black socks only covers one inch above her knee.
"Don't be so KJ." Lavalee replied
"Mag-ingat kayo ha." Ethan said
"Para namang hindi tayo kasama." Caspian said
"Hindi nga." Irene and Chelsea said
"The professor in charge won't probably allow you to come along and besides, you didn't pack any clothes." I said and glanced at Lavalee's direction. Well Lavalee can pull some strings to make them come along, though but it seems she won't pull some today.
"Don't cause trouble." I heard Jace instructed Lavalee
"I'm kind, Dreice." I raised my brow at Lavalee when I heard her reply
"Talaga lang ah?" I said and looked at her she raised her brow probably asking why I'm contradicting
"You're not." Jace replied so I smiled teasingly at Lavalee even though she's frowning.
"You look cute." Hendrix commented when he saw us
"See? We look so cute in uniform clothes!" Lavalee said with her hands on her waist
"Bakit naka uniform kayo?" Jaxith asked
"It's fashion, bro!" I said with my arms crossed over my chest
"We look pretty innocent in these." Lavalee commented
"Wow naman! Parang di kayo kampon ng dilim ah!" Icarus teased and suddenly a shuriken came flying to his direction
"Ay nadulas?" Irene said sarcastically
I wonder how she even managed to throw it without her bodyguard reacting.
"Ewan ko sa inyo." Icarus said and he suddenly looked at one direction and we were a little surprised when we saw Lavalee in Jace's arms. Jace was back hugging Lavalee – or not?
Lavalee's holding Jace's arms that's why it's wrapped around hers.
"Hoy! Layo!" Jaxith said and pulled Lavalee's arms
"Napaka KJ! Di ko pa napipicture-ran eh!" Reklamo ni Irene kaya tinaasan namin siya ng kilay
"What? Para may ebidensya kay Kuya Frost." Sabi niya naman
"It's useless. As of now preoccupied si Nii-sama with his love life." Sabi ni Lavalee at nag roll eyes.
We laughed sarcastically because of what she had said. Si Frost magiging busy sa lovelife? Lavalee had to be kidding.
"Uh I'm not kidding! Diba Dreice?" sabi ni Lavalee at tumingin pa kay Jace na tumango
"See? Told you? We heard a girl's voice last time." sabi ni Lavalee
"What the actual f**k?" halos magkakapanabay na mura namin, maliban sa mga kasama naming clueless sa nangyayari
"Language." Saway ni Chelsea habang pinaniningkitan kami ng mata
"Oh! You're complete!" narinig namin ang boses ni Mrs. Conchia kaya napaayos kami ng tayo
"Let's go, the van's waiting." Mrs. Conchia said
"Um pwede po ba kaming sumama?" Caspian asked
Whoa! Great courage he have there huh?
"Why? Anong gagawin niyo doon?" Mrs. Conchia asked
"We're worried for the safety of the girls po." Elijah said
"Don't worry, the place is secured." Mrs. Conchia said and walked ahead
"We'll stay." Jace said kaya hindi na nakaangal yung iba
"I don't trust Lavalee though." Jace added and we heard him winced
Lavalee must've hit him.
"You're so mean!" Lavalee said
I shook my head while we're following Mrs. Conchia. We're going to use a van to go to the venue where the Division Intrams would be held.
Hendrix sat on the passenger seat, Chelsea and Irene sat on the seats beside me while Icarus and Jaxith sat on the seats behind ours. I leaned on my seat and I heard Lavalee and Jace talking on the outside. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I just happen to hear it clearly in my position.
"Dreice naman eh. Don't you trust me?" I heard Lavalee asked
"No." I smirked on how bluntly Jace answered Lavalee's question
"You're unpredictable." Jace added and I mentally clapped my hands because of Jace's wittiness
"I'm not joining a g**g fight, Jace. Division Intrams, okay?" Lavalee did sound convincing but if you know how cunning and great actress Lavalee is you'd think twice about her words.
"Puro ka kasi kalokohan." Jace reasoned out and I can imagine Lavalee's frustration in reasoning and making alibis whenever Jace caught her, that is if he catches her.
"Jace Dreice Scott, if you can't trust how my mind works how about my promises?" I almost burst out laughing because Lavalee used her innocent tone, the one that we haven't heard her use since like three years ago, to convince Jace
"You're stubborn." Jace said and that's another reason why he can't trust Lavalee.
Well we trust Lavalee no matter what though, we accept her in who she is and she does the same with us.
"Dreice, I promise, I'll inform you about everything I do if that's what you want. Please, just trust me, love." I almost fell when the door opened and because of shock.
Just what the heck?!

"You're eavesdropping." Lavalee and Jace looked at me, Lavalee's eyes are narrowed while Jace raised his brow at me
"Uh I'll go inside." I said awkwardly and sat inside again. I closed the door, this time I made sure I locked it.
"Bwiset ka!" I said and hit Jax because he's the one who suddenly pulled the door open from the window.
"Jira, kindly tell Valerie to get in." Mrs. Conchia said so I opened the door and looked out
"Uh Mrs. Conchia told me to tell you to get in." I said and leaned on my seat I looked out and it was a wrong move because I saw Lavalee kissed Jace on his cheek.
Lavalee sat between Jaxith and Icarus who on the other hand, placed their arms on Lavalee's shoulders.
"Nothing left?" Mrs. Conchia asked and we nodded because the guys packed up our travel bags before they left us. She started the engine and drove out of the Academy's premises.
"I saw that." I said and faced Lavalee
"Saw what?" patay malisyang sabi niya
"The kiss." Sabi ko na nakakuha ng atensyon nina Jaxith, Icarus at Irene.
"It's probably one of her usual kisses." Sabi ni Chelsea
"Oo ng naman, Je, parang di ka sanay kay Lav na laging nangbe-beso." Sabi ni Icarus
"It wasn't a beso! It was a peck." Giit ko kaya napatingin sila kay Lav
"What? I also do that to Freia, JC, Kent, Fuego and Nii-sama." She defended
"Pero di mo siya kaano-ano." Jaxith said and we nodded
"Uh? I do that to Ares sometimes." She said
"That's a beso, and Ares is your second cousin." I pointed out
"Don't make it an issue. It's nothing." Lavalee said brushing the topic off
"Supportive naman kami, Apoy!" Jaxith said
"Oo nga. Tanggap naman namin kung mag boyfriend ka." Irene added
"Pero kikilatisin muna namin." Icarus said
"Tama!" Jax added
"Guys, come on. There's nothing going on between me and Jace." Lavalee insisted
"Love?" I asked with a raised brow
"I call my younger sibling that sometimes." She said
"Jace is older than you by four years, five actually if I may say." Chelsea said
"Guys..." Lavalee sighed and looked at us
Well Lavalee never wins when it's the four of us teasing her with facts. If it were speculations, she's slide off easily but with facts? None of us wins at that at all, especially if it's her who's teasing us so it's payback time.
"Fine." She said softly and I think we're the only one who heard it because Mrs. Conchia is busy with a conference call that she answered through her bluetooth earphone.
Suddenly our phones vibrated and I opened it to see a message from Lavalee.

Jace didn't tell his higher ups with what he found out when we were chased. I asked him to keep it, I know I gambled but I'm lucky he stayed true to his words so please I don't want him to get the wrong idea.
We looked at each other while Lavalee is leaning on her seat with closed eyes.
"Alright." We surrendered
Lavalee doesn't want to lie to us and we understood her situation. The pressure is on, she lost her rights as the Lady of the Hanazaki Palace without anyone knowing and that's what is pressuring her. Once the council finds out that she lost her rights and she haven't regain it, her brother would be burdened again and that's what Lavalee is avoiding. This must be the reason why she's doing everything to ace up, to regain her status before anyone even finds out she had lost it.
"Please keep it." She said and we nodded
"How do you plan on getting it back?" I asked her
"By winning and acing up." She replied and showed us her phone.
There is a contest in the underground, a game of wits, luck and strength.
"You'll join that?" Jaxith asked and I know he's scared for Lavalee.
The players of that game are ruthless. They are all monsters, they kill whoever gets in their way.
"And win, yes." Lavalee replied
