The Path We Choose

Do you believe in bad luck? Many people do, while others don’t. Some say our actions shape the experiences in our lives, implying that bad luck is simply a myth. Everything we encounter is a reflection of the choices we make. Life can often feel confusing, devastating, and mysterious, with its unpredictable twists and turns. Yet, this mystery is what makes the journey of life so compelling. As they say, everything is a choice, and the outcomes we face are the results of our decisions. But what if every choice we make leads us to challenging outcomes? I used to think I was bad luck. Most of my choices led to failure, and I faced many challenging outcomes. My teenage years were tough, but I was fortunate to have beautiful childhood memories. I was a happy and bubbly kid, always surrounded by good friends. My father was strict and disciplined us well, while my mother was the sweetest, tirelessly working so that my brothers could go to school. I witnessed her sweat and hard work, selling bananas to make ends meet. It wasn't until I faced reality myself that I truly understood the value of perseverance and resilience. The journey began when I entered my teenage years. The once vibrant, happy girl transformed into a more reserved version of herself, facing challenges like acne. I embraced the world of books and discovered a passion for reading novels. Although I became more introverted, I cherished the friendships I had, even if I didn't socialize as often. Through the love stories I read,, I found inspiration and hope, yearning for my own beautiful narrative to unfold.Things couldn’t get worse, I thought the change would be good for me. When I turned 15, I started to socialize and I became more confident than before. Everyone thought that change would be good for my life but I didn't know that it actually made my life worse.
