I don't really know about the rest of what had happened later that evening. Hindi ko na rin maalala na nakipag-usap ako sa ilan sa mga bisita nang gabing 'yon ng party.
The only thing that I am certain of is that Adalyn never left my side that night, which is I'm really thankful of. Kung wala siya sa tabi ko ay baka kung ano-ano na ang mga pinaggagagawa ko.
"Ma'am? Ma'am, gising na."
I woke up with a girl's voice on the background. I don't quite remember who's the owner of that sound that's why I decided not to open my eyes.
"Ma'am? Gising na ho. Umaga na," the girl said, again. This time, I responded.
With my groggy voice, I hummed. Ininat-inat ko rin ang katawan ko at agad na nangunot ang noo ko sa pagtataka nang may mapansin ako.
