I just smiled at him. Hindi ko magawang mag salita dahil manginginig lang ang boses ko.

Brion sometimes can’t speak a whole sentence. We all find it cute when he cut his words. He’s still young, yet he can speak words that we can understand quickly.
“Mom was away for a business trip. Sorry I forgot to tell you…” Sabi ko.
“Miss you… Dad was here earlier…”
“I miss you too, Honey. I know. He told me.” I smiled.
I wiped the tears from my cheeks. He might notice that I’m crying if I just let my tears fall.
“You should sleep again,” I said.
“Brion is sleepy mama.”
I smile and nodded as I caressed his cheeks. He’s slowly closing his eyes again. He’s young, but he’s acting older than his age. He doesn’t beg us to sleep with him. He sleeps on his own.
