An Ally or An Enemy

Ghenica was dragged by the crowd, letting go of Demon King Cain's hand and now in the middle of the crowd cheering the artists.

( Haha.. haha. He's going to nag me non-stop and blame me for not holding his hands tightly... Hahaha... This crowd is making me dizzy I need to break free from these people) Ghenica thought to herself while trying to break free from the crowd who are enjoying themselves.

On the other hand, Demon King Cain is looking for Ghenica by rushing his self inside the crowd of people of nervousness and anxiousness. ( Tch! Where is she? Where are you, my wife? My Kitten? You shouldn't let go of my hand)

Ghenica manages to break free from the crowd and walk into an alley where she saw a man crouching on the ground. She rushed, get down on her knees and lean to the person.

" Mister? Hey mister? Are you alright? Can I help you?" she asked and then the man coughs blood which makes her panic

" Oh no! Hey! You're not fine. Don't crouch on the floor." Ghenica said and pulled the man's arm and tries him to stand.

" I will bring you to a doctor. Hold on to me" Ghenica added

" Cough! Cough! No, don't bring me to a doctor. I will lead the way just bring me to there" said the man who is trying to stand up

" Ok, hold on to me mister and try to walk you're too heavy," Ghenica said to him

Ghenica who barely carries the man manages to reach a lake.

" Here? What should I do? If you want the water you should have told me I can buy you there at the plaza. " Ghenica said to him

" You can leave me cough! cough! " said the man who lay his self on the grass

" Why should I? You're not fine. I will get your medicine" she replied

" Just.. cough! cough! leave... Medicine is cough! in the lake... I have to wait until cough! until the moon sets" he replied slowly

" Then... Then I'll stay until you are fine," she replied.

Ghenica sat beside him, hold his head, and put it on her lap.

" Just rest, mister... ( Cain will surely get mad at me... I am sorry but, I can't let him die in front of me) sigh," Ghenica said

The moon slowly shows and rise in the sky, the stars twinkle brightly that reflects on the lake. Ghenica gets amazed when she saw the lake seems full of diamonds and crystals, it's glowing that it lights up the whole place.

" Beautiful" Ghenica muttered

The water from the lake glows even more and move slowly. Ghenica's eyes were fixed on the lake and a creature arose. It's a female creature with white eyes and hair, a hair that is glossy and wavy like water. A silk dress that is shining that it seems like that the stars was put on it. The creature walks on water and slowly gets near to them, leaning on the man and touching his chest. Slowly the eyes of the man open.

"Aqua, " he said to the creature in front of them as he stands up

" Eugene," she replied

" Ahem... Excuse me, I am still here guys" Ghenica said as she stands up

" Ah, sorry. I am being disgraceful to the lady who helps me. My name is Eugene Harry Genesis. " Eugene said as he bows to Ghenica

" I am Ghenica and you're not being disgraceful," she replied

" I am Aqua, a spirit of water. Thank you for helping my master. "

" So you are a spirit... You are beautiful" Ghenica said

" Thank you. " Aqua replied

" If it's not impolite... What happens to you I thought you are dying" Ghenica asked

" His body is weak ever since birth but, due to great magic and having me as his spirit since the beginning manages to forbid his body from dying," Aqua explained

" How about medicine? " Ghenica added

" No medicine can cure it. But I store my powers in a bottle so that he can replenish his strength.... and speaking of that bottle... Master where is it that you need to go here personally? "

" I lost it" Eugene replied while averting his eyes

" That's the 100th time! Sigh!! Never mind I will give you another" Aqua said while leaving the two

" She has a temper huh?" Ghenica said

" Yes she is, she always nags at me. " Eugene softly replied

" I think she's a concern. I know it's annoying being nag at but, they just concern. You should be more expressive to her I think she will like it" Ghenica said to Eugene

" It's not that I don't want to show my appreciation. It's that I don't know-how. I am not talkative nor show emotion."

" I know, you looked like a person tends to be alone... You should make friends.." Ghenica suggested

" Hmm.. "

" Let's be friends, okay?!" Ghenica added

" You don't have to feel sorry to me," Eugene replied

" Tch, I do not feel sorry ok... Why? You don't want to be my friend?" Ghenica said in a sad and soft voice

" Ok, just don't make that expression," Eugene said in a panic

Ghenica smiles and brightly," Take care of me, my friend... Eugene"

" Me too.." Eugene said in a soft voice

" Ahahaha, ah! I have to go back to the plaza. I am sure he is looking for me."

" You're going to leave?" Eugene asked

" Uhmmm.I am not living here. My home is far away. "Ghenica replied

Eugene felt sad knowing that his friend will leave.

" I am sorry, I even ask you to be my friend. " Ghenica said

" Here, take it you must exchange letters and let's meet if we have both our times" Eugene eagerly said, handling to Ghenica an origami of a bird.

" I am glad friend," Ghenica said

Ghenica leaves Eugene her new friend at the lake who is waiting for Aqua. Ghenica arrived at the plaza and look for the Demon King.

" Tch! ( I hope that Mr. Knight and Ms. Maid is done collecting the things I've asked. )" Ghenica put her hand on her dress pocket and get fireworks. She stands in the middle of the plaza fountain and lit it up. It flew up the sky that is dark and shines up above the sky. In the sky, a word can be seen " HONEY"

Demon King Cain looks at Ghenica everywhere but can't find her. " Where is she, it's dark now"

As he was roaming and looking for her he heard a loud noise and lights scatter from the sky where he read a message.

(There you are naughty kitten) Demon King rushed where the lights were set off and saw Ghenica sitting beside the fountain. He runs towards her, grabs her arm, and hugs her.

" You naughty"

" Hehehe" Ghenica replied

Leviathan and Lana went on their task and get the stuff on the list.

" She treats us like we are her slave that lowly human sticking to our King is disgusting," Lana said as she and Leviathan went to buy mana stones in a store

" You shouldn't talk to her like that. I know how many of us hate humans but, she is with us to help our King so you should not harass her" Leviathan replied in a straightforward face.

" Harass? What are you saying I am treating her normally" Lana said

" Normally? Is that what you called it? You should know your place. I know what you are pulling off" he replied

" Still you keep quiet about it right? " she said to him

Leviathan face her and warn Lana, " once you do things that are unforgivable or do things more than what you do I ll it to the King"

" Let's go, we have to go to another shop," Lana replied

Leviathan and Lana finished the things that needed to be bought in the list when they heard a noise coming from the sky and after it was lights being scattered where it left a word " HONEY"

" We have to go now," Leviathan said to Lana

" Why? Can't we rest?" Lana said gripping the sleeve of Leviathan

" That is the signal" Leviathan replied

" What? Fine let's go" she said

The two of them run towards the signal and saw Ghenica together with Demon King Cain sitting beside the fountain.

" King, are you hurt?" Leviathan asked in a panting voice

" Leviathan we're fine." Demon King Cain said

" You two should rest. Sit down and catch your breath I will bring you something to drink and eat" Ghenica said

Demon King Cain hold Ghenica's arm when she about to leave, raise his left eyebrow, and said, " Stay here, I don't know anymore if I lost my kitten. I will bring them water"

" Then I want the grilled meat again," Ghenica said happily

" Fine, behave here" he replied and left

" I sorry if I make you rush. We lost each other when the crowds pushed me during the parade." Ghenica said to the two

" It's fine" Leviathan replied

" Tch! It's not fine... We are not under you, I never will acknowledge you as My King's wife or equal. " Lana said to Ghenica coldly

" I know, you may not acknowledge me but my husband Cain did and I know for sure that others will because I am much more valuable than what you think" Ghenica replied in an honest and proud voice

Demon King Cain came back and saw a heavy atmosphere surrounding the three.

" What happens here?" He asked

" Nothing" Ghenica replied

After resting they decided to go back home first thing in the morning. On their way back home they meet Demon King Arius together with Salamander flying up the sky. The four of them get off the car.

" Greetings King Arius," Ghenica said to King Arius

" Where have you been?" Demon King Arius asked

" We travel for a day and bought things at the Genesis Kingdom" Demon King Cain replied

Demon King Arius startled on what he heard and said," That's dangerous if ever there's a chance you meet any of the strongest magicians you four will be killed"

" We wear a disguise and if there's a chance that we caught I have plans to make it out of that kingdom without any harm inflicted to us. Besides I am proud of the speed that my car can travel to get us away from there" Ghenica explained

" So this thing is one of your inventions? " Demon King Arius asked

" Yes," Ghenica proudly replied

" Let's go. You two stop chatting" Demon King Cain said as the three of them get back on the car

" Tch!" Ghenica replied and forcefully enter the car

" Don't sulk, we still have to talk about what happened to you there yesterday. " Demon King Cain said while patting Ghenica's head

" Let's meet again sometimes Lady Ghenica," Demon King Arius said and flew off

They arrived at last, Ghenica decided to take a bath.

" Kitten are you alive? Or the bathtub ate you alive?" Demon King Cain asked

" Why are you here?" Ghenica replied

" We need to talk," he said

" Fine, just give me time"

Ghenica went out of the bathroom dresses and sat on the bed where Demon King Cain is laying.

" What do you want?" Ghenica asked

" You should dry your hair properly. You are not a kid anymore" he said as Demon King Cain grab a towel and dry the hair of Ghenica

" Where have you been when you got lost?" Demon King asked

" I saw a man and help him. We also become friends" she replied

" Is he handsome?"

" Are you jealous?" Ghenica asked while grinning

" Just answer" he replied

" He's cute..."

" Tch, another thing is he the only one you meet?" Demon King added

" Why?" Ghenica asked

" I can feel magic from you when we meet" he replied

" Magic? Hmmm...Oh! Maybe because of the spirit I saw." Ghenica answered

" A spirit?"

" Yes, she is pretty. Her face is like the goddess she shines like the stars during the tunica happily said to him

" Why you met a spirit?"

" The man I help he can summon them. Can you also do that? How about me?" Ghenica asked

" I need to confirm something. You better sleep, for now,w, we will continue our talk tomorrow" Demon King Cain said, kissing her forehead and lay Ghenica comfortably on the bed.

" Goodnight," Ghenica said

" Have a nice dream kitten" he replied as he left her in her room.
