The Demon King's Wife

Genesis Kingdom

Demon King Cobra invited them and have their dinner in a large dining room. Presenting different kinds of foods on their table.

" Why Leviathan standing? Eat eat... Also you Lana" Demon King Cobra asked

" It's not my duty... " Leviathan reply but interrupted by his King

" Eat, he will keep pestering you if you didn't obey him" Demon King Cain ordered

" Thank you Demon King Cobra"

Leviathan and Lana joined the meal. The room was filled with silence when King Cobra breaks it and asked King Cain,

" Ahem... So King Cain my dear I wanna ask why you didn't invite me to your wedding? "

" Because you're annoying" he coldly replied

" You're so mean, "

" Shut up"

" How about the Lady? Wanna chat with me? Yes? " Demon King Cobra

" Ahaha, what do you want to talk about?" Ghenica replied

" Not so much, How about your opinion in marrying Cain. You know he's hot-headed, sometimes grumpy... No, he's grumpy most of the time. So how's your life with him as his wife? How about a baby"

" Cough! Cough! " Demon King Cain coughs as he heard the words coming from Demon King Cobra

" Aha.. ha.. ha. there are things we must first accomplish" Ghenica said

" Like what? Are you still reclaiming your land, Cain? " Demon King Cobra asked

The ambiance suddenly gets heavy and Demon King Cain who is glaring at Demon King Cobra said, " Why? You even dare not to lift a finger to help me. "

" Calm down,... Easy, it's not that I don't want to help you and you know what the Genesis Kingdom can do is nothing to me. All I wanna say is you don't have to be a burden because of your parents that you just met thrice of your life" Demon King Cobra said

" I already started this, I even gain the title as a Demon King I am not going to use it for nothing" Demon King Cain replied in a serious tone.

The room filled with silence for a second when a loud BURP sound was heard coming from Ghenica.

" Sorry, excuse me" Ghenica softly said

" Ahahahahaha, that's loud haha..." Demon King Cobra laughing hard

" Pft.. ahem... " Demon King Cain tries to breaks the laugh of Demon King Cobra who is still laughing hard.

" Why are you here?" Ghenica asked when Demon King Cain enters the bedroom

" To sleep, " he replied

" Can't you ask another room?" Ghenica asked

" Kitten you are my wife so sleeping together is natural" he replied in a grumpy tone

" Fine, why are you grumpy? The time we met him you become more grumpy than usual."

" Kitten why are you calling me, your husband grumpy? I told you to call me HONEY "

" Yeah, honey... So Honey why are you acting this way? What did you two talk about after the dinner? " Ghenica replied in a smug face

" Not so much, ignore me and sleep so we can get away from this place."

After dinner Demon King Cobra asked for the presence of Demon King Cain alone.

" What do you want?" Demon King Cain coldly asked

" Why so cold? Your mother and I are friends. Is it because I didn't help you? Your mother ask me for one thing.... and that is to keep you safe and happy" Demon King Cobra explained

" Safe? How about the other demons? Happy? The only thing that can make me happy is to reclaim that land for my brethren. If you help me that day maybe..."

Demon King Cobra who is listening to King Cain interrupted him and said that " If I help you that day blood will flow all over and you might lose a more important thing. Tell me have you ever ask your people they felt about your decisions? "

Demon King Cain can't talk back and yet King Cobra added and says, " You even put an innocent life into danger. I know what you are capable of but it doesn't mean you can fight alone. We Demon Kings are the same as the King's of the humans or Leaders of the elves and giants. We want peace in this world despite the differences"

" Not all want peace like you or that Demon Arius. No matter who they are or what race they come from there's someone who will be greedy to take something from the other... Or just crazy enough to ruin the peace of others because it what's they enjoy" Demon King Cain replied

" So you know what are you trying to achieve and what you may lose? Fine I will not stop you nor help you but, the human you make your wife .... her life will be in danger. Many will try to claim her it's better if you bring her back to where she came from." Demon King Cobra said

" Why are you concerned about outttt my wife? I will protect her." Demon King Cain replied

" She resembles my sister."

" Don't worry I am not going to drag her in a mess where her life is in the line."

" Give her to me... I will take good care of her."

Demon King Cain who heard those words from King Cobra got mad and shout at him,

" What the hell did you say?! She's mine so don't you dare try to take her! I am going to sleep. I don't want to talk to you anymore"

The next morning Ghenica fixed the vehicle and leave the Demon King Cobra's castle. After several hours they manage to reach the main gate of the kingdom; the territory that Demon King Cain wants to reclaim. They hide their identity by disguising themselves as humans, left the car hidden, and went to the gate.

" Woah! It's big." Ghenica blurted out in her amazement.

The walls are tall and there are guards from above and below.

" Where do you come from?" a guard in the gate asked them.

" Where from the east. We are merchants." Demon King Cain replied

" East? Ah, yes I know where it is. Ok, you can enter. Here is your pass" said the guard

" It's nice here, let's go to market," Ghenica said while walking away but, stopped by Demon King Cain by holding her back collar.

" Don't wander and go far away" he said

" I am not a kid," Ghenica said

" Then let's go home" Demon King replied

" I'll behave. I wanna go to the market. Let's go there, please? Honey? " Ghenica pleaded in her best way

Ghenica convinced Demon King Cain and they went to the market. It is full of different stalls and a plaza at the center. First, they went to the stall where they sell grilled meat.

" Let's eat there, Ghenica said holding the hands while dragging Demon King Cain.

" Don't run," Demon King Cain replied.

" How much mister ?" Ghenica asked the vendor

" Two silver, are you new here? It's my first time seeing you" the Vendor replied

" We're merchants. This smells good. Give me five. " Ghenica replied

" Yes yes"

" Hehehe, Honey Cain... Give me ten silver so that I can pay. " Ghenica said

" Ten? " asked the Demon King

" I will eat two pieces of their grilled meat"

" What a glutton... You only know how to sweet talk to me when you need something from me. " said the Demon King pouting his mouth

" It's just your imagination" she replied

Ghenica gave each of them including Lana and Leviathan grilled meat. She was satisfied having grilled meat in her two hands.

" It's not bad," Demon King Cain said

" I know, let's check out other stores" Ghenica replied

The four of them stroll the market until it gets afternoon so Demon King Cain decided to take a rest.

" Leviathan, Lana find a place to stay"

" Yes," the two answered as they walk away.

After an hour Leviathan and Lana came back.

" We have found a place to rest," Lana said

" Let's go" Demon King Cain replied

Ghenica who still wants to roam around pouted her lips crossed her arms, and said, " Let's roam around and went there ( pointing at the food stall direction ) We still haven't gone that part"

" My Kitten there's still tomorrow besides you have eaten too much. You're going to upset your stomach if you still eat" Demon King Cain said

" Just one..." Ghenica still wants to insist on going to the food stall carried by the Demon King.

" Behave, promise tomorrow we will eat the things you want as long as it will not upset your stomach" he sweetly said

" Ok,"

Inside the inn Demon, King Cain asked Leviathan to get three rooms, a single room for Lana and Leviathan also for him and Ghenica. After settling the fees they went upstairs and rest in their perspective rooms.

" Why have me?" Ghenica asked

" Why can't we? Last night we sleep together.... ah no you're the only one who sleeps soundly" Demon King Cain replied

" What are you trying to say? "

" In the middle of the night, you kick me and slap my face. I do know that you have a bad habit when it comes to your hands and feet but, I didn't expect that you still kick and slap in your sleep" Demon King Cain said as he teases her

" Tch! So you should sleep on the floor" Ghenica replies

" Ahahaha, how do you think I manage to sleep after that? "

" Hm? ( This morning I find myself sleeping in his arms) " Ghenica remembers how she found herself this morning. Her face started to flush which the Demon King enjoys.

" Now you remember right?" he teases her

The Genesis Kingdom led by King Noah Genesis, they are the family who invaded attack the parents of Demon King Cain. Their strong powers came from an unknown source, heroes, saintess, and great mages were also born from their lineage. A King who has nothing and only owns a small territory in the past is now conquering and still conquering lands of Demons who are weak.

" My King I have a premonition that a human from a Demon clan will shatter and crumble our Kingdom," said the saintess in name of Morgiana, niece of King Noah who is known for her beauty also the blue eyes and golden hair that can make every creature fall in love in her presence.

" Morgiana are you referring to a human that appeared in the battle between us and that i***t half-demon? " King Noah asked

" Yes, she will lead us to our destruction" she replied

" What can a simple girl like her can do to our kingdom? Don't be ridiculous." said the King in his pathetic voice

" But King! You saw her that day. She has a power unknown to us. "

" Morgiana I gave you the title of a saintess because you can predict the future but, in these past three years, all of your premonitions are wrong. "

" What if this will come true? " Morgiana asks

" The greatest hero and mage is here. My sons will not let this Kingdom fall into shambles. Do not worry... I will ask someone to finish off that girl. " the King replied

" How? She's in the hands of the Demons?"

" I said worry not. I know someone who can help me."

The next morning Ghenica and others went to the market and continue to enjoy the sights.

" Leviathan, Lana you two buy this thing on the list and after that meet us at the center of the plaza." Demon King Cain ordered the two

" King, you and the human must not leave alone. " Leviathan replied

" If a mage knows and bound to felt your presence your safety will be on the line" Lana added

" Are you two questioning my decision and my ability to protect myself and my wife? "

" No, but... " Leviathan replies but can't continue due to the sudden high of the Demon King's voice

" Leviathan!"

Ghenica who is listening stops the argument and King Demon King Cain.

" Stop shouting, you are getting too much attention. "

"Tch!"

" Mr. Knight and Ms. Maid you don't have to worry. If there's a chance even the slightest that we get in a situation in which we both be in danger... I will make a signal" Ghenica explained

" What kind of signal? " Leviathan asks

" You will know so don't worry" Ghenica replied

Leviathan and Lana walk and do their errands while Ghenica and the Demon King roam around the plaza while the Demon King holds her hands.

" Let's go there," Ghenica said pointing at the crowd

" Fine, don't let go of my hand" he replied

The crowd was cheering the dancers on the stage who dance gracefully. Laughter and joy were filled in the plaza and a parade was going to commence due to many people gathering around, Ghenica accidentally let go of Demon King Cain's hand.

" Kitten! Kitten! Ghenica!" Yell the Demon King who is trying to hold Ghenica but, still lost due to the crowd.
