Betrayal leads to out of control
Chapter 1 Seraphina's POV "You betrayed me! I thought you loved me, Castiel! When you decided to travel to another world, I agreed because I loved you, Castiel. That's why I've waited for you for so long. Did you know that, huh?" I angrily exclaimed, my voice trembling with emotion. "Because I was hoping that when you came back, we would be together," I continued, my heart racing. "But when you returned from another world, my heart shattered into pieces because you brought a mortal woman with you!" "And guess what?" I shouted, my anger boiling over. "When you came back, you were already married! For f*****g sh*t! You didn't even think about how much you hurt me! You hurt my feelings, Castiel!" Tears streamed down my face as I let my rage consume me. Castiel looked at me with pity, and after a moment of silence, he finally spoke. "I'm sorry, Seraphina. I didn't mean to hurt you," he said softly. "Yes, I loved you because you are my best friend. But that doesn't mean we could be together like lovers, Seraphina." His words pierced through me like a dagger, each syllable twisting deeper into my heart. I felt as if he had stabbed me a hundred times with his confession. "I love you, Seraphina," he continued, "as a best friend and like a sister to me." He paused, searching for the right words. "You are important to me, but please, stop those feelings you have for me. It’s wrong, Seraphina. I'm already married to Elizabeth. Please be happy for us; we are having a child soon." He sighed, and I could see the weight of his words pressing down on him. What I heard from him made my body freeze. I felt as if the ground had been pulled from beneath me. I didn’t know if I was going to die from heartbreak or go crazy. My heart ached with a pain so profound that even my magical powers couldn’t mend it. "No! You can't do this to me, Castiel! You are not going to marry that mortal woman! I'm the only one you can marry, baby! You cannot have a child with her! No! You are only mine! Mine alone, Castiel!" I shouted, my voice echoing with desperation and fury. I couldn't take this anymore. I felt as if I were losing my breath, and all I could feel was hatred toward that mortal woman. "I am a powerful wizard and also your best friend, but why can't you choose me to be your girlfriend? Why not me?" I asked myself, spiraling deeper into my thoughts. I was so lost in my reverie that I didn’t notice someone calling Castiel from behind me. The voice only fueled my anger further. Castiel's POV "Castiel?" a woman’s voice called out, breaking through the tension. "Elizabeth, baby! What are you doing here?" I asked, my heart racing with concern. It was dangerous for a mortal like her to be outside, especially now that she was pregnant. I worried about what would happen if Seraphina saw her. I didn’t know how I would protect my wife if Seraphina decided to lash out. As I was lost in my thoughts, I heard Seraphina scream in rage. "You! Mortal woman! You ruined my life! You destroyed all my dreams with my love! You stole Castiel from me! You will pay for this!" Seraphina shouted, her face twisted in anger. After she said those words, I watched in horror as Seraphina stormed toward Elizabeth. My eyes widened in realization of what Seraphina was about to do. I quickly summoned my powers to reach my wife before Seraphina could harm her. "Oh my gosh! What is happening, baby?" Elizabeth stuttered, panic evident in her voice. "Calm down, baby, you will be okay," I reassured her, trying to keep my own fear at bay. "Don't worry, I will not allow Seraphina to hurt you." "Okay, baby," she replied, her voice trembling. But then I heard Seraphina scream again, and this time, it felt like she was preparing for a fight with me. It seemed as if she was ready to unleash her fury. "Ugh! You two are going to pay for this!" she exclaimed. "For hurting me, for making me feel useless, for making me feel unworthy of love! That hurts me so much!" "And oh! To make you both suffer, I will give you the most hurtful payback," she declared, her laughter echoing ominously. I began to worry for Elizabeth because I knew what Seraphina was capable of. She had the power to curse anyone she desired, thanks to her witch blood. Then, Seraphina began to channel her power. "From now on, your son will suffer! I curse your son to die in his future life when he finds his true love. For my revenge, your son's life is the price for hurting me! And the only one who can save his life is a woman with the blood of a witch and the blood of a good sorcerer, hahaha!" she cackled, her laughter chilling me to the bone. Elizabeth began to cry, and it broke my heart to see her in such pain. Even though I had powers, I felt utterly helpless to save our son from this curse. "W-what should we do now?" she asked, her voice filled with despair. "How could we save our son, Castiel? Tell me what to do, please!" Her tears fell like rain, and I felt my own heart shatter at her anguish. "Oh, oops! It seems that the Savior is nowhere to be found, and it's impossible to happen, hahaha!" Seraphina taunted. "Now you know how hurt I am, Castiel! If you could only choose me, you would never feel this pain. But it's too late for you to say what I want to hear because I already cast the spell. Let your son suffer for your betrayal to me, hahaha!" She laughed maniacally as she began to fade away. I was shocked to see Orion standing not far from where Elizabeth and I were. He seemed frozen, unsure of what to do. I knew he had feelings for Seraphina, but he did nothing to stop her from cursing my son. Anger bubbled within me; I hated him for not helping. As I was lost in my thoughts, panic surged through me when I noticed Elizabeth had lost consciousness. "Oh no! Elizabeth, wake up! Not now, please! Baby, please!" I pleaded, my voice breaking as I started to cry. Then I saw Orion approach, placing his hand on Elizabeth's forehead, trying to use his healing powers. He was desperately trying to wake her, but she didn’t respond. "No, no, no! Baby, wake up, please! Don't leave me! You bear our child; he needs you! I need you both, Elizabeth…"
