"ANAK, IS everything alright? Sinong kausap mo kanina?" My attention shifted to Dad when he suddenly appeared, holding two glasses of wine. He handed me one, his eyes following the man who was being dragged away somewhere. I even saw a familiar figure trying to stop and calm him down.
"I think I saw a familiar face. Sino ‘yon? Anong ginawa nila? Kilala mo ba ‘yon, nak?" Dad said again, sunod-sunod na tanong while trying to get a better look at the man's face.
“No, Dad. Randomly kinausap n’ya lang ako,” sagot ko na lang.
I was about to intervene and stop them from dragging the man away, thinking it might startle him more, but Dad appeared again.
