I had chosen the latter, I had chosen to be with Zoey and let Rose fight the pain alone. Though I love her so much, I had to be with Zoey until her last minute.

Zoey asked me to come with her at the beach, she wanted to see the sunset, her favorite view.
She was completely pleased to see it and having me beside her. She was smiling while looking at it and sometimes at me.
“I have always been dreaming to see the sunset having you beside me. I didn’t know that it will be granted today,” nakangiti niyang ani.
“Kuntento na kasi akong pinagmamasdan ka sa malayo. Honestly, wala na talaga akong balak magpakita pa sa’yo, pero parang sinasadya ng tadhana na dumating pa ang araw na ‘to. Ang pagkakataong ito na makapag paalam pa sa’yo.”
