"It's already lunch time, ma'am. Where should we go?" He suddenly said, startling me.
Nilingon ko siya habang nakaupo ako sa passenger's seat at sinamaan siya nang tingin.
"Pwede bang mag signal ka muna bago ka magsalita? Pang ilang beses mo na 'yang ginawa, ah!" I hissed.
He chortled huskily as he swiftly manoeuvre the car on right side of the road, overtaking the big, smokey truck.
"I'm sorry, madame. I'm just hungry." he reasoned out.
I rolled my eyes and pouted. "'Wag na. Doon na tayo kakain kina tita Sali. Paniguradong may inihanda 'yong pagkain doon."
"Have you told them that you're back?"
"Yep. Kanina lang,"
"They must be excited."
Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti. "Ako rin." I answered.
I missed my cousins so much.
