Dinner was a simple affair for Katrina, Hershey, and Tonio. Katrina fought the urge to bring food to Algin, much less check what he was doing. She had convinced herself to keep busy and avoid him at all costs. She couldn't risk having breakfast with him again—or even seeing him. After Hershey and Tonio left late that night, Katrina lay awake. Sleep eluded her, and by one in the morning, she was preparing her duffel bag.
