Prologue
"Some things were better lost than found." - Stephen King
I think I've been here earlier. I remember seeing Ian Darcy earlier. Oh well, I'm lost. Literally and figuratively. I wonder why I even decided to go out and do a “soul-searching” moment during the pandemic when I am not even good with directions. I blame my Geography teacher back in elementary. I mean, I know where the cardinal directions are in theory, but I don’t know them in practice. Dang! So, where should I go now?
I look around to see if there’s any sign I’m familiar with. Right! I passed by that store earlier. But where to next? I check my location on the Map. Not helpful at all. I hate how unreliable navigation apps can be sometimes.
In case you are wondering, I’m in a mall. It’s not even one of the biggest malls in the country, yet I seem to just get lost wherever I go. I remember back in college, I always passed by the same avenue, but I also got lost almost every day. It’s also probably why in real life...I’m lost too.
'Nuff of the drama for now. I’m Abigail. I’m 28 and lost.
