A Fangirl's Life

"Aubrielle Winter Ty, halika na! Baka wala na tayong maupuan pag puro make up ka pa dyan! Maganda ka na, sige na!"  Stella said as she was forcing me to go now kasi may pupuntahan pa kaming talent show sa school kung saan magpeperform yung ultimate crush kong si Cha Eun Woo. Kailangan talaga sa full name ako tawagin? Parang si mommy 'to ah. Nagger.  Cha Eun Woo, or Eunwoo, as many people call him, has been my crush ever since I started studying here in Fantagio University. He's half Korean and half Filipino. He's got it all, the gorgeous face, the talent, the brains. He can also sing and dance well and excels in basketball. And on top of that, he's also very very down to earth and kind to everyone. He's the perfect definition of God's most perfect creation. Literally flawless. We're currently on our 3rd year in college. Stella has been my bestfriend ever since. Our familes are close to each other so we're basically family as well.  In our circle of friends, there are 4 girls and 5 boys: Me, Stella, Hazel, which is Stella's older sister. The other girl is Andrea, the most reserved one. We usually call her Drea. As for the boys, there is Park Jinwoo or Jinjin, Kim Myung Jun or MJ, Moon Bin, Park Minhyuk or Rocky and Yoon Sanha. They are actually cousins. They're familes came from Korea, that explains their korean names but they all grew up here in the Philippines. They're somehow related to Cha Eun-woo for some unknown reason, but they're not close to him.  As I went outside my room, the others were already waiting for me in the living room. Jinjin and MJ were playing PS5 with my brother Kyle. Rocky and Sanha were eating doughnuts in the kitchen. Hazel is outside talking to her boyfriend on the phone. Drea, as usual is on her earphones listening to her kpop idols. Where is Bin? He's probably not here, probably passed out from drinking too much last night.  "Good morning, princess. Ready ka na makita ang prince charming mo later?" Jinjin greeted me. "Sira ka! Ang suplado naman ng prince na 'yon." I pouted. "Mukhang prepared na prepared ka Brie ah, parang may pageant ka ngayon." Sanha commented. "Sobrang halata ba na nagpapaganda ako for him?", feeling anxious now. "Hindi naman. You've always been pretty, mas pretty lang ngayon." Stella said. Okay, now I'm getting anxious more. Baka magmukha akong patay na patay kay Eun Woo mamaya! I even prepared banners and stuff para lang i-cheer siya sa talent show mamaya. God! Nakakahiya. Pero sabi ni Stella, if I'm not gonna go all out for my feelings to him, he'll never notice me. Last year na pa man din nila Eunwoo ngayon, so I need to somehow leave an impression to him bago man lang siya gru-maduate.  "Matagal pa ba kayo? Tss." Bin suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Akala ko wala siya. Kill joy talaga nitong lalaking 'to. Moon Bin, or Bin, as we usually call him, is the coldest person in our circle. Or should I say, coldest to me? I don't know. We don't usually hang out together. I can hang out with the other boys pero kapag siya lang? No. I don't really feel comfortable around him. I even go out to movies with only Jinjin or only Rocky, pero I can't if it's only Moon Bin and me. I feel awkward, or I don't know, we probably just don't click. There's just something about his aura that is too much for me to handle. That's why I'm always surprised kapag kasama siya sa mga ganitong ganap namin. "Bakit kasi hindi ka na lang dumeretso sa school kung ayaw mo pala mag hintay?" I spat. "Ako na nga 'tong sumundo sa'yo, ungrateful ka pa!" he hissed. "Sino bang may sabing sunduin mo ako? Pwede namang si Jinjin na lang magdrive--" "Oh tama na yan, magaaway na naman ba kayo?" Jinjin stopped us from another argument. Bin walked out looking so frustrated. Ugh. Napaka-attitude talaga ng lalaking 'to! Ano, may period ba yon? "Bakit ba kasi sumama pa siya? Hindi naman siya usually sumasama eh." I asked them. "Brie, hayaan mo na. Buti nga nag re-reach out na sa'yo yung tao eh." Sanha said, lecturing me. "Ganun ba ang nagre-reach out? Nagrereklamo pa kasi ang tagal ko?"  "Moody lang talaga 'yon. Hayaan mo na, don't let it ruin your mood. Panunuorin mo pa si prince charming mo mamaya." ani Hazel. "And besides, magpeperform din si Bin mamaya sa talent show. Baka nalilimutan niyo. Magkaklase sila ni Eunwoo." sabi naman ni Rocky. "Oo nga pala! Ano ba ipe-perform ni Kuya Bin?" excited na tanong ni Sanha. "Ang alam ko sing and dance eh. Di man lang ata 'yon nagpractice." ani MJ. "Kaya pala nagmamadali.. ikaw naman Brie nagalit ka agad." ani Drea. Aba at kasalanan ko pa! Pero sabagay, kasalanan ko nga rin. Okay sige, mag-sosorry na nga!  "Sige na, kasalanan ko na. Nadala lang ng damdamin. Magso-sorry ako kay Bin mamaya." sabi ko. "Ngayon na, pagsakay mo ng kotse, magsorry ka. Para naman umaliwalas na yung mukha nung tao." ani Stella. "Kaya nga, baka mamaya i-bangga pa nun yung kotse e." halakhak ni Mj. Gago! "Dun ka na sumakay sa unahan, katabi ni Bin. Tapos magsorry ka na. Susunod kami para di ka mahiya." suggestion pa ni Rocky. Luh, ayoko nga! Bakit hindi nalang sila sumama? Kailangan magmoment pa kami? Ano 'yon, parang jowang sinusuyo? "Magso-sorry na lang ako pagsakay nating lahat."  "Hindi niya iisiping sincere ka, iisipin noon napilitan ka lang. Kaya sige na, magsorry ka na doon. Kumakain pa naman kami dito ng doughnuts" ani Sanha. "Five minutes," Stella reminded. Okay, five minutes. Wala pa naman sigurong one minute yung pagsosorry ko sa kanya. Baka mamaya ma-late pa 'to, mas magalit pa sa akin! I stormed out of the living room and I found Bin inside his Trailblazer, wearing his specs. Mukhang badtrip pa rin. I opened his car and thank God at hindi naka-lock kasi nakakahiya kapag pabubuksan ko pa sa kanya! I went inside his car, he was surprised na dito ako nagpwesto sa shotgun. Arte ka pa ha. "Asan na sila?" he asked, confused. "Nasa loob pa." "Mauuna na tayo?" he asked, still confused. "Hindi ah! Ano, s-s-sorry kanina. Na-carried away lang. Nagulat lang ako na dumaan ka sa amin. Akala ko deretso ka na sa school eh." "Ang dami namang s niyan." he chuckled. Anong nakakatawa! Kinakabahan nga ako eh. Kumunot na naman ang noo ko. "You're forgiven, just please try to be sensitive towards me sometimes. I'm not that bad, you know." he said. "Sensitive ka pala? Akala ko wala ka namang pakealam sa akin."  He patted my head and said, "Silly girl, of course I care about you.San nanggaling 'yang idea na yan?" I was taken aback with what he said but I just answered, "Wala lang. You're usually cold towards me kasi. I just feel like di mo ako bet." "Hindi talaga kita bet." halakhak niya. Gago talaga 'to! Binabawi ko na yung sorry ko. "Ewan 'ko sayo! Tawagin ko na nga sila!" I stormed out of his car before I say something bad and make it worse for everyone. "TARA NA! NAGSORRY NA AKO! HALINA KAYO! MALALATE NA TAYO!" I called them from outside. "Ano, bati na kayo?" Hazel asked as they all went towards Bin's car. "Hindi naman kami magkaaway." I answered. I was about to go inside car in my usual spot, which is sa likod ng shotgun seat, when Bin suddenly said to Sanha, "Dun ka sa likod, diyan si Brie." "Dito na ako sa likod." I told Bin. "Dito ka nagpwesto kanina ah." Bin insisted. "Sige na Brie, dun ka na sa unahan. Diba bati na kayo." ani MJ, sira ulo talaga 'tong isang 'to. And yes, para matapos lang, pinagbigyan ko na sila. The drive on the way to our school was quiet. We went to the school's little theather para maka-pwesto na sa front seats. Moon Bin went to the backstage, to prepare yata. I wonder where Eunwoo is? Nasa backstage rin kaya siya? I wanna say good luck! "Anong oras kaya ang start nito?" Sanha asked, already bored from waiting. "Malapit na siguro." ani Drea. "Ano kayang kakantahin ni Eunwoo?" Nakaka-excite naman!" sabi noong babae sa likod ko. Ugh. He's mine, girls. Pero bigla akong nakaramdam ng kaba nung narealize kong ako lang yata ang may pa-banner para kay Eunwoo! Baka mapagkamalan akong girlfriend! Pero okay lang. That's the goal! Hahaha.
