“I said, come here,” she repeats.
“Yeah, I heard what you said. I just... I don’t understand what your picture has got to do with me.”
Tumingin siya kay Sunny, as if asking for help to explain whatever it is that she’s trying to say, if there’s any.
“Oh, it’s bad luck,” Sunny suddenly answers for her like it’s natural.
Napakunot lalo ang noo ko. “What is?”
“You know. Taking picture of three people.”
I almost roll my eyes at her. They can’t be serious about believing in that supertitious s**t.
“Better safe than sorry,” Sunny adds with a shrug.
“Then why don’t you go ahead and join them?” I ask. “I’m sure these girls would love it if the two of you are—”
