Christmas is supposed to be a holiday of love. But Christmas isn't easy for everybody. That sometimes, the expectation of performing the kind of expected festive cheer in the holiday spirit to be it to family, friends, or even to oneself can become a kind of moral obligation. A painful burden for those who struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness or simply a feeling of inadequacy when it comes to the celebratory displays of other people who seem to be so much better at enjoying Christmas than us. So Christmas should be a moment of solidarity. Where we love each other, but we also reserve a place in our hearts to love those who might not find love on Christmas. Who might feel that Christmas is not for them. Here in our country, we are used to celebrating Christmas with our family. I
