*Months before the "One Night"*
"Sir, good morning po. Gusto ko lang po sanang magpaalam. May family gathering po kasi kami sa Thursday kaya gusto ko pong mag leave," pagpapaalam ng secretary ko habang dahan-dahan kong ninanamnam ang freshly brewed na coffe ko to start the day.
"Sir?" sunod na sabi niya.

"Sir, I am asking if you'd let me take a leave?" pangungulit niya pa.
